Chris and the team are great. Quick to get you seated and your order in. Food comes out fast, which is exactly what I need for a quick lunch. They remember my usual order too. Solid spot.

The shepherd's pie here is the main event. The lamb filling is rich and savory, and the mashed potato topping has a perfect, slightly browned crust. It's a solid, hearty version. The fries on the side are crispy and well-salted. That's what I come for.

It's counter service now, which is fine. The huevos rancheros are the real star here. The eggs were perfectly runny and the salsa had this smoky depth. That alone made the whole visit worthwhile.

The strawberry cone was so creamy. You can tell the ice cream is homemade. It had this really rich, fresh strawberry flavor.

Service was super friendly. I really appreciate that they offer a mix of German and American classics. The Reuben sandwich caught my eye—the meat is cubed, which is a nice touch. It felt like a fresh take on a familiar favorite.

Drove a ways for this. The bread? Honestly some of the best I've ever had. Just a perfect crust and soft inside. Their pastry case is seriously tempting, so many choices. That alone made the trip worth it.
