TheForkUserReally nice place, staff very kind and helpful especially to our young son. Our first day of our holiday was made special because of their care and also the food was lovely! Try it, you’ll like it!
TheForkUserGood food and friendly people that made us welcome what else do you need!Enjoyed our meal and pleased we found somewhere close to our overnight stop in this quite little village.
_TI***zlA fantastic place to enjoy a meal! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. The desserts were particularly impressive, so make sure to save room for them!
TheForkUserExceptional chicken burger, with fresh delicious homemade dough bread, delicious chicken and red pesto! 🤤 It worths coming back to eat it again!! Great pizza with nice dough also. Friendly service also! Very nice italian carafe of wine also!
TheForkUserStylish restaurant (with rooms) in a beautiful village, nestling below a spectacular Chateau. We were warmly greeted by Philippe whose good English gave a welcome boost to my not-so-good French. The food was uniformly excellent, with generous and well-presented portions of chicken terrine starter, steak & fries and pork cheek mains, and various tasty desserts. The €32,50 set lunch is great value, as was a €24 bottle of Provence rosé. I wish I lived closer to this wonderful place but I'm determined to return one day!
TheForkUserwe were booked in for 7.30pm...arrived and felt as if they weren't ready for us, and that were an inconvenience We were served and but it felt rushed. We were given starters to share - but had to ask for plates.our main course was brought out whist we eating starter. no additional cutlery- we took from adjoining tabkePartner ordered coke and we both requested water - no glass with coke! took one from another tableNo milk available to add to coffeeRequested bill - waited ages, so we went to bar, and were told this was how/where to payNo toilet roll in looFood served with chips - which is a shame as we would prefer rice with that kind of dish (more authentic)Food was ample - we actually didnt need the starter!! Food was generally tasty If we lived locally we use it as a takeaway but not to eat in :-/
_TI***41I was impressed by the quality of the food here! The chicken spring rolls and beef with Thai basil were particularly delicious, and everything is made fresh. The prices are very reasonable for such high-quality dishes.
TheForkUserThe food was not good value for money and was not very good quality. Expensive and poor.
_TI***bgThe New Year's Eve celebration at Philopat was unforgettable! The meal was delicious, and the entertainment kept us engaged throughout the night.
TheForkUserFirstly the sushi was really fresh - rice properly warm, fish so fresh!! Nothing machine made. And the service was really great. We decided to do takeaway but had a great chat with the guy at the counter and another lady waiting for her dinner. Definitely highly recommend.Shirley
TheForkUserVery good restaurant. The food is excellent and a fair price. The waiter was very welcoming. I would 100% recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserVery stylish dining room with a charming outdoor terrace. Service was both friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, well seasoned with a well-balanced choice of dishes. Highly recommended.
