The steak and ale pie was spot on - the pastry was so light and buttery. I liked the high ceilings and the big windows, it just felt really spacious and calm. A good place to just sit and enjoy a meal.

Server was really friendly and chatty. Made our big group feel welcome.

Took a chance on the pastrami pasta. Honestly? A bit weird, but it worked. The honeycomb cheesecake was the real star though, not too sweet. Solid meal.

The ribeye was cooked exactly as I asked. The flavour was just right, not too rich. The lighting was a bit too dim for my liking, though.

Cosy spot run by a lovely family. The old Japanese pictures give it character. Had the katsu curry, which was solid. My only gripe is the wine list is a bit limited &ndash; a few more interesting bottles would really complement the food. Still, a nice local find.

Our server was lovely, really made us feel looked after. She was friendly without being overbearing, and remembered to check if we needed more water. A nice touch that made the meal feel relaxed.

As a veggie, I was really pleased with the menu. Lots of choices, and they actually use decent protein substitutes. The tofu in my curry was spot on.

The sticky toffee French toast was massive! Perfect for sharing with a friend. Megan was a lovely server.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. The roast beef was cooked just right, still pink in the middle. The Yorkshire puddings were spot on. It&#39;s a cozy spot for a lazy weekend meal.

I have dined at this restaurant on a number of occasions and have always found it good.Granddaughter , Celeriac Stk ; Boy Friend Sun Fig Both super ; Wife &amp; I both roast beef, excellent but my wife found it too much.  Suggestion -  include &ldquo;smaller portions in your menu.

The Bronx brunch. The hollandaise on the eggs was spot on, rich but not heavy. The hash browns had that perfect crisp edge. Ruby was nice, sure, but the food&#39;s the thing here. Just a really solid plate.

Lovely, cosy hotel with a real fire in the lounge. We spent a few hours there after dinner, playing some of the board games they have available. Just the spot for a cold evening.

The scones are pretty good under the new owners. A decent spot for a quick bite.

Tom yum was the star. Zesty, spicy, just right. Prawns in the curry were fresh too. That&#39;s all you need really.
