Came in on my own and the baked fish was really good - nice and hearty. The place has a cosy, relaxed feel, you can just unwind.

The full English breakfast here was just right. Not greasy, cooked perfectly. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was, made for a relaxed start to the day.

Lovely pub vibe, staff were so welcoming. The 'Three Little Pigs' pizza was the highlight for me – the crust was spot on, and the toppings tasted really fresh. A solid choice.

Coffee's the real star here. Had a flat white that was just right, smooth and not too bitter. Perfect spot to grab a quick cup.

Nice little place, different vibe. Had the honey chilli peanuts with my pint - really good combo, crunchy and just the right amount of kick. The local bread and oil is a nice touch when they have it.

The fish and chips were spot on - not greasy, and the chips had that perfect crispy outside, soft inside thing going on.

Lovely server on a packed night. She was so patient with our table, even when we took ages to decide. Really appreciated that.

The scones were warm and crumbly, just right. The clotted cream was the standout - rich and thick, not overly sweet. Jam was decent. That's really what you're there for.

Kelly and Henry were so kind, and the wine list had some lovely pairings for the lamb.

Lovely spot for my baby shower. The afternoon tea spread was impressive, lots of fresh, vibrant options. I really appreciated how they handled my dietary request for the sandwiches—everything felt thoughtfully prepared. A very pleasant afternoon.

Clean, cozy spot. Team was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and they accommodated my custom order without fuss. Good for a quick, reliable bite.

Been getting lunch from here a few times now. The salt and pepper squid is always crispy, never greasy. The cook is a friendly guy. Food’s just consistently good.

Came on a busy night, but the service was still really friendly and efficient. My white bean hummus and asparagus tortilla arrived quickly, which was a nice surprise. The whole vibe just felt smooth and relaxed.

That brisket burger is a proper handful, but so worth it. The meat just falls apart, and the bun holds up surprisingly well. Definitely a knife-and-fork situation, but I wasn't complaining.

Staff were friendly and efficient on a busy Saturday. Our group got a table without much fuss. Service was prompt, even when the place was packed. Good for a quick lunch when you're in the area.

Been coming here for years, their breakfast is a local classic. The coffee is always spot on, a proper full-bodied roast that pairs perfectly with the eggs. It’s the kind of place that just gets the basics right, every single time.

Lovely relaxed spot. The spicy corn fritters were the star for me. You could really taste the fresh, sweet corn kernels in every bite. The batter was light, not greasy at all. A nice, healthy-ish option. The staff were very friendly.

The medium cod and chips was a proper portion. We took ours down to the seafront steps to eat. The sun on the water made it feel like a proper little escape from the usual lunch rush.

Decent spot for a quick bite when it's busy elsewhere. The house red was surprisingly good with my burger.

A clean, cosy spot. The mushrooms were so fresh, you could really taste the quality. The hash browns had a nice crisp to them too. Just what I look for in a simple, wholesome breakfast. Staff were lovely.

The food is cooked to order and has such distinct flavours. It's worth the occasional wait at busy times.

The full English was huge, and their house ale was the perfect pairing.

Friendly staff, they even remembered my name from last time. That's a nice touch you don't get everywhere. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the service made it a good visit.

Portions are huge, you'll definitely leave full. Service was quick, no waiting around. Good for a casual bite.

The chicken tikka masala here is the real deal. The sauce is rich and creamy, just the right amount of spice. The meat is tender, not dry at all. For the price, it's a steal. Best I've had locally.

First time trying their chocolate nachos. Belgian chocolate melted over the salty chips, with strawberries and marshmallows. Sounds weird but it totally works! Shared it with a friend and we still couldn't finish it.

The cod was spot on. Flaky white fish, batter crisp and not oily. Chips were decent. Quick service, good for a business lunch near the office. Slightly pricey for what it is, but efficient.

The Chicken Tikka Flatbread from the new lunch menu is the thing. The smell from the street is what got me. The sauce has a slow heat, and the chicken is really tender. Ate it too fast, honestly.
