Lovely little Italian-run cafe by the sea. Stopped in for a coffee and a slice of cake. What stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The cake tasted like it was made that morning, with really good quality butter and fruit. A nice, simple treat.

The staff were really nice. They even offered to deliver our food for free when we said we were house hunting.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was crisp and light, not greasy at all, and the chips were proper thick-cut. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. Just what you want from a seaside pub.
