Lovely spot, though we queued a bit. Staff were sound and the food was decent. Nice buzz inside, just wish it wasn't so packed.

The Sunday roast here was proper good, the beef just fell apart. Desserts were unreal too, we basically had to be rolled out after. Live music was a nice touch, not too loud that you couldn't chat. Would defo come back with the group for a lazy afternoon.

Stopped in on a whim, glad I did. The scallops were spot on, really well seared. Had the sea bass too, flaked perfectly. Wine list is mostly Italian, found a nice bottle that didn't break the bank. Place was a bit busy, but service kept up alright. Wouldn't mind going back to try more.

Great pint of Guinness and the stew hit the spot. Sat outside watching the world go by. Service was quick enough for a lunch stop.

Nice cocktails and a menu that’s got plenty of options without being too much. Prices are a bit steep but you’re paying for the quality. Solid spot for a proper dinner.

The chocolate whiskey scoop is the one. Rich without being heavy, and that sea salt on top just cuts through it. Tried a sample before committing, which was handy. Went back three days in a row for it. The other flavours are fine but that combo is the reason to go.

Stopped by without a booking and they still squeezed us in, which was so nice. The spicy seafood linguine was the standout — plenty of prawns and just enough heat. Portion size was spot on too. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's on us for going at peak time.

Stayed overnight in the car park with the campervan and the staff were dead sound about it. Even stuck the rugby on the telly for us. Fair play to them.

That cream donut is something else. Light, fresh, not too sweet, and the texture was spot on. I had it with a glass of their house white, which worked better than I expected. Probably the best one I've had in a long while. I'll be stopping by again before I head out.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. The amaretto sour by the fire hit the spot after a long day. Bartender was on it, kept the drinks coming without hovering. Place was a bit quiet for my taste, but that worked fine for a relaxed sit-down. Solid spot if you want a proper cocktail without the fuss.

Stopped in for dinner last week and ordered the lobster bisque—honestly, it’s been a while since a soup hit that hard. Rich, creamy, proper depth of flavour. I paired it with a glass of Sancerre and that combo alone made the night. Service was attentive without hovering. Place was a bit loud by 8pm, but I’d still go back for that bisque.

We popped in here twice while staying nearby and honestly the pistachio ice cream with Irish coffee is the one ☕️ like I’m still thinking about it. Service was really attentive too, made it easy to just chill with the girls after a long day. Only thing is it got a bit busy later on, but that’s on us for timing. Would happily go back.

The spot itself is grand — right near the car park, so handy. Staff were grand but seemed a bit bored, and our food took about 10 minutes longer than expected. Not mad about it though.

Stopped in for dinner, wasn't sure what to expect. Seafood chowder was the move, proper thick and full of fish. Wine list is decent too, not crazy overpriced. Service was sound, friendly without hovering. Place has a nice warm vibe, easy to sit and chat for a while. Maybe a bit quiet for a Tuesday but that's on me.

Loved the outdoor heated seating, proper spot for watching the street go by. Had the cider, went down a treat with the meal. Service was grand, no complaints there. Only thing, it got a bit busy later on, but that's on me for staying so long. Decent spot altogether.

The seared sea scallops were spot on, really fresh. My 8oz filet was cooked well too. Price felt fair for the quality you get.

The sirloin steak was proper good—medium rare just as I asked, really juicy. Prawn cocktail starter was decent too, plenty of prawns in it. Place was busy enough on a Tuesday night but we got seated quick. Only thing, the chips could've been hotter. Still, I'd go back for that steak again.

Got a table straight away on a Friday night, which never happens. The duck breast was cooked properly, pink in the middle like it should be. Pork apricot was decent too, though I'd say the duck was the better of the two. Staff were sound, looked after us well enough. Place was busy but we weren't rushed.

Decent curry house. Staff knew their menu, pointed us to a good mixed thali. Portion size was fair for the price. Service was quick enough, no complaints.

The wagyu beef burger was properly seasoned, really tasty. Only thing is they cook them well done, but the chips made up for it. Nice selection of alcohol-free drinks too.

The curries and crispy duck are always spot on. Portion size is decent for what you pay, though I wouldn't say it's cheap. The dining room looks fancier than the bill suggests, which is a nice surprise. Staff were polite enough. I'd stick to eating in rather than getting a takeaway, the food just hits different when it's fresh.

Came for the dinner, live music was decent craic. Lamb shank fell off the bone, prawns were fresh enough. Place had a good buzz to it. Bit loud if you're after a quiet chat, but sure that's part of it. Solid feed overall.

Service's a bit hit or miss. First time was grand, quick and friendly. Second visit we waited ages for drinks and food even though the place was half empty.

Stopped in for a bite after work. The live music on Saturday was decent, not too loud. Had the dinner special, fish and chips I think it was. Solid enough. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Breakfast did the job. Nothing fancy, but you know what you're getting. Fine for a local.

Came here with a couple of friends after hearing good things. The seafood chowder is seriously loaded—fish, mussels, the lot. Rich and creamy, exactly what you want on a cold day. Portion was decent too. Place got pretty busy by the time we left, but we managed to grab a table easy enough. Would happily go back for that chowder again 😊

Pizza was proper good, and the garlic mushrooms were a nice surprise. Portions are hefty for what you pay, which I always appreciate. Place was packed though, so definitely book a table before you head over. I can see why it's busy, but it's not a spot you can just rock up to on a whim.

The pizza's still spot on after all these visits. Family deal feeds us all without breaking the bank.
