Le Grimaldi

Found this restaurant online with good reviews and did not disappoint! In such an idyllic setting right at the top of the hill next to the castle, great spot for the sunset. Food was incredible, so tasty. One of our favourite nights in Cagnes sur Mer

We used to come to this lovely quaint restaurant years ago and it’s as good as ever. Great food and presentation and a nice wine list. Lovely location on the village square with pretty views. We will be going again very soon!

Warm welcome - beautiful setting on the main square and live music on a Sunday night. We had friends join us unexpectedly and the staff accommodated them very graciously. When a storm appeared and we had to move inside the staff were super efficient and unflappable. Lovely evening in a great setting with imaginative and well executed food - great taste combinations and starters and dessert especially good.

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Le Grimaldi tonight. The Foie gras and warm brioche starter was exceptional and our main entree, the Sea Bass with asparagus and lemon sauce (I believe) was also excellent-very fresh, light and seasoned nicely-although the plate could have been warmer. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, and made us feel that they were happy we were dining with them (and I can’t say that about many of the restaurants I’ve been to in France the past 3 months!) We weren’t rushed and they allowed us to stay for nearly 4 hours so that we could watch a jazz concert from our dinner table! I would recommend Le Grimaldi very highly and look forward to returning again!
