I had the island speciality, lobster ragout. That is an enormous lobster which you still have to pull out of the carapace, served with potatoes, a congre-eel broth, salad and veggies, all on one plate. Quite tasty. The whole was accompanied by sparkling mineral water and a glass of delicious white wine from the Poitou region (sancerre).Problem is the slowness of the service. They do their best, but the tourists in the summer are abunding.
The lobster ragout was amazing. Incredibly delicious! The service was very attentive and friendly, and the ambiance… well, fitting for the Ile de Sein. The restaurant doesn't offer "fine dining," but surely no one expects that. We had a lovely outdoor seating area under an awning, overlooking the dry harbor. It was very atmospheric and just right for the time and place. We would come back!
Friendly place, the stew is excellent, it's a shame the prices are higher than The Fork advertises. A drinks menu would be welcome.
Warm and friendly welcome, perfect menu, top dishes (langoustines in cream sauce and lobster salad) both in quality and quantity, we recommend and we will come back!
