Everything about this place is absolute perfection. Loved it! The atmosphere, the food especially, the service, and the wines. I don&rsquo;t have enough superlatives.

A charming restaurant with wonderful food. All run by the owner/chef and one assistant. Only one warning: 2 flights of steep steps to get there..

What a unique restaurant: marvelous food, served by the gifted and knowledgeable chef himself, with an incredible view from above of the museum of fine arts and city hall! From the lobster &amp; caviar to the homemade chocolate, and great wine, a very memorable evening!

The food, the ambiance, the view, the service, the people are all reasons L&rsquo;Etage is the best dining experience I have had in my life. My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary and it was amazing. It is a very small restaurant, with a gorgeous view over the Batholdi Fountain. There are six tables inside, and two people working (the owner, who is front of house and serves) and the chef. It is so personable, and each dish is accompanied by explanation of its origins, the history of the dish, and recommendations as to how to enjoy best. The prices were exceptionally reasonable and we left quite full. I will leave my review short so as not to go on and on, but I could. I loved this restaurant and it was the highlight of our 8 day vacation in France. If you are reading this, please go, you will not regret it.

Dinner in L&rsquo;etage brings exceptional pleasure from all possible perspectives: creative and deliciously divine food, beautiful intimate interior and friendly staff around (mainly the chef and his colleague).

We loved the renovation and new menu at Le Passage! The vibe is perfect for date night or girls night.

I had the pleasure of having dinner at this beautifully decorated high-end restaurant. I was traveling toute seule. I have felt compelled to write something at the risk of encouragement to other seekers of quality dining. Two words are only required. Fantastic. And value. I have been lucky enough to dine in many Michelin awarded establishments all over the world. This place takes some beating!  Let&#39;s start with the welcome. Fabulous. The menu was a wonderfully chosen mix of tasty treats. I chose a fois gras. With some brilliant sides of flavorsome sauces. And a sweet rocket salad. This is the best fois I have had in Lyon. The chef, Ivan, had already introduced himself with a ready smile and warm handshake. I had already asked him to choose a win to accommodate my choices of food that I had in mind. Ivan didn&#39;t disappoint, and neither did he with the main of melt in the mouth beef. Loaded with truffle and a rich sauce to accompany the mash. It was so good that I used the bread to clean my plate! I had a cheese selection to finish, which was also superb. It was simply wonderfully simple. And unbeatable value. I took luncheon across the road at a two Michelin star restaurant for lunch. I can honestly say that although that was excellent, in terms of value,  this was ten times better. And more fun. One of the best places in Lyon. This was fine dining, fun and a wonderfully entertaining evening. I highly recommend this little gem. Thanks, Ivan and the team.

In addition to the recommended dish, in many cases, customers who come here will know the special dishes here, and the waiters will introduce them to us one by one, so you might as well come here and try it.

If only the owner had a smile while greeting us it would have been better because I didn&rsquo;t feel welcomed! Service was nice and satisfying.

Very nice and good looking restaurant in the city centre. The plates are well prepared and served. The waiters are nice.

It&#39;s rare to find such an authentic noodle shop in France. The noodle soup is delicious.
