L'Alcôve - Hôtel Le Louis Versailles Château

Great food! Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, you should try this restaurant. Well executed dishes, service was with a smile (a little room for improvement perhaps) and the bar/dining area had a great vibe.

The place is super beautiful! The Waitrose they were super nice and polite ! I would definitely recommend the brunch I the restaurant! The food is amazing !

The lights are all indirect and give a cosy atmosphere. Table are far away from each other so one can have our own private area. Cocktail are excellent and well presented. Food is really fresh and well presented inside the plate. Nice evening!

The food was amazing. The best lamb anything we’ve ever had. The wait staff or bar staff??? was great but we didn’t know who was what. I booked through The Fork to celebrate my wife’s birthday but unfortunately no one was even there to greet us. Also the place is too bright. There’s just no good dining vibe because the bright lights.

The service was strange. We had a reservation. The server sat us down at a table then another server came up and made us get up and wait for another table to be cleared and then sat us down in a corner despite many tables being clean and available. The watermelon gazpacho was nice, as was the ceviche. Both my husband and my beef filets were overcooked - almost well done - and dry. No one came by to check on us or to see if the food was satisfactory or I would have mentioned it. Souffle for dessert - my husbands was cooked perfectly and mine was undercooked like pudding on the inside. This meal should have been spot on as the menu is limited and it wasn't that busy. Did not live up to our expectations.
