The lake perch sandwich is the only reason I come here. The fish is always fresh and perfectly fried, with a light, crispy coating that doesn't overpower the flavor. The tartar sauce is homemade and has a nice tang. It's a simple dish done right.

The peanut chicken bowl was good, but the carrot cake... wow. Moist, not too sweet, with the perfect cream cheese frosting. I'd come back just for that slice.

Service was super friendly and attentive even on a busy night. Felt like we were the only table there!
