Been coming here for a while now. Daily menu with pork and fries is still under 20 CHF, can&#39;t beat that for the area. Service stays quick too.

Stopped by after a movie on Monday, place was packed which surprised me. Had the veal liver with polenta, really fresh, cooked just right. Lasagna was solid too, tasted homemade. Service kept up even with the crowd. Only thing, it got a bit loud with everyone talking, but that&#39;s kind of expected when it&#39;s that busy. Good spot for a casual dinner.

The terrace ski cabin vibe is pretty unique, I&rsquo;ll give them that. Sat outside even though it was chilly, and the setting alone made the evening feel special. I had the grilled fish with greens&mdash;fish was fresh, nicely done. Booking ahead definitely helps, place fills up fast. Only thing, service was a bit slow between courses. But I&rsquo;d still come back for the atmosphere.

The burger and poke bowl were solid picks, and the TiramiSuisse dessert looked almost too pretty to eat 😅. It was a fun way to end the meal. The ice cream was kinda meh though, especially the Daim one&mdash;didn&rsquo;t really do it for me. Still, a nice spot to hang out with friends for a casual bite.

The entrec&ocirc;te Parisienne was spot on &mdash; cooked exactly how I asked, and the homemade fries actually tasted like real potatoes. Solid spot for a low-key dinner in Lausanne. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Maybe a bit busy on a Friday night, but that didn&rsquo;t bother me much.

The pork knuckle was the standout. Crispy skin, tender meat, no fuss. I ordered it without checking anything else on the menu. Portion was generous for the price. Maybe slightly salty at the end, but I didn&#39;t care. That&#39;s the only thing I remember about the place now.

Solid lunch spot. Sushi quality is decent for the price, and the portion size actually fills you up. Not fancy, but you&#39;re not paying for fancy. Just a quick, satisfying bite when you need it.

Lovely spot right by the funicular, that view never gets old. Staff still remembers us and gave solid tips for the area again. Food was on point as always.

Prawns were properly spicy and the portion was generous. Sat on the terrace under the trees, nice breeze off the lake. Staff seemed genuinely friendly, not just doing the job.

Wholesome food, good portion sizes at a fair price, friendly service - not much more you can ask for in Neuchatel (or Switzerland generally).  Location may not suit everyone because its a bit of a walk outside the centre - but was fine for us.

The pizzas here are exceptional, with a perfect thin crust and generous toppings. Definitely a must-try for pizza lovers!

Lovely little place by the river. The spinach ravioli was rich and tasty, exactly what I needed. Service stayed friendly even when it got busy.

High quality Thai food, especially best Tom yum soup ever tried. Very nice atmosphere and personnel. It is worth visiting even if you only pass by Avenches

The wood-burning stove really makes this place. Sat by the window watching the lake while eating, felt properly cozy. Food was tasty, nothing fancy but done well. Staff friendly enough. Only thing, it got a bit warm after a while, but that&#39;s kind of the point in winter, right?

I was there with several friends and all of us were amazed by the service and the quality of food. Pasta was very tasty and the meat was &ntilde;erfectly prepared, very fresh. They also have a very nice selecci&oacute;n of wines.  The lady who was serving just couldn&#39;t be nicer!!!! Very attentive and was there whenever we needed her. We will come back again for sure.

The cheese fondue was properly rich and gooey &mdash; exactly what I wanted. Staff even tried a bit of German with us, which felt genuine. 😊

The lasagna had that crispy edge thing going on, which I loved. Looked really good when it arrived too. Solid choice if you&#39;re in Bern and want something comforting. My friends and I shared a few starters first, so we were pretty full after. Maybe not the cheapest spot but the food did the job. 😊
