The mixed yakiniku platter was really good. The meat was so tender, especially the beef tongue. The Fukuoka-style hambagu is also a must-try here! 🥩

The burdock tempura udon is a classic. The tempura stays crispy, the broth is clear and refreshing, and the noodles have a firm, satisfying texture. A very enjoyable bowl.

The soup broth is light and clean, with a natural sweetness. That dashi aroma hits you as soon as you walk in the door. The thick Hakata noodles are soft and pair really well with it.

The red-themed decor gives it a cool European vibe. It’s way more spacious than I expected from the outside — felt really relaxed just hanging out there for a bit.

Just stumbled upon this place near Yakuin Station. Their grilled mackerel is the star - crispy skin, super moist inside. Really hit the spot on a chilly evening.

Tried their motsunabe for the first time. The broth is so rich and buttery, with a nice garlic kick that doesn't overpower. Loved that it wasn't boiling hot, so you can dig in immediately. The set had plenty of veggies and offal too.

The shiitake udon's broth has a really fragrant bonito flavor. The burdock tempura was a nice addition.

Booked the upstairs tatami room for a quiet dinner. Felt like stepping back in time. Food was decent, nothing fancy but solid. Good spot if you want that old-school vibe without the crowds.

I highly recommend the lunch menu at BAKURO. The prices are reasonable for the quality of meat you receive, and the variety offered is impressive.

Selected for Must-Visit Restaurants in Fukuoka

The deluxe burger was massive, packed with toppings. Really enjoyed the flavor combo, but it’s a two-hander for sure—got a bit messy halfway through. Still hit the spot.

The restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, and the seafood bowl with sesame sauce was especially tasty. The luxurious atmosphere made for a relaxing dining experience.

The live squid sashimi was a highlight of my meal, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to fresh ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the preparation and presentation of the squid, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.

Nice homemade udon near Kushida Shrine. The noodles are thinner with wheat germ, different from usual. Zubora curry udon was good.

The tonkotsu broth here is lighter than usual, which I liked. It's still got flavor, but I finished the whole bowl easily. The chili paste they give you on the side adds a good kick.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, making it a perfect choice for special occasions.

Been coming here for years. Love the abura soba, and being able to customize the noodle firmness. Perfect for a quick, filling lunch.

This restaurant is ideal for entertaining important guests, as it combines a lovely atmosphere with delicious food and a breathtaking view of the city.

Ramen's only 290 yen. Perfect for a quick lunch. The tonkotsu broth is light, not too heavy. Finished the whole bowl easily. Good for a fast bite.

The counter seats are perfect for chatting with friends. The couple running it are so friendly, makes it feel like home.

Stopped by for lunch after a morning walk. The owner was so friendly, she recommended the daily special pasta. It was really good, just a simple tomato sauce but tasted fresh. A nice little find.

Been coming here for years. The radish cake is the reason. It’s always perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, just like I remember from my first visit. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The all-you-can-eat yakiniku here is my go-to in Tenjin. I appreciate the variety of cuts offered. The quality of the meat is consistent, and I always notice the freshness of the vegetables on the side. It's a solid choice for a satisfying meal.

The kids menu is huge, like 12+ options. I could finally relax and enjoy my grilled octopus without my niece fussing. A win for the adults!

Ordering on the touchscreen was easy. My ramen came out quick on the belt, nice and hot. The whole system just works, no waiting around. Simple and efficient.
