For those who appreciate high-quality rice, this restaurant is a must-visit. The Ryu no Hitomi rice is exceptional, and the additional options for rice accompaniments enhance the overall meal.

Steamed dumplings were solid. The skin had a nice chew, and the filling wasn't heavy. Ended with champon noodles in the broth.

Charcoal-grilled fish was the star. Juicy, smoky, perfect. The chicken was good too. That smoky flavor from the grill is just right. Cozy spot, feels authentic.

Spacious layout, tables well spaced. Appreciate the individual portions now, feels like a sensible post-pandemic adjustment. Good for a business lunch, no crowding.

The staff here are always so nice and helpful! They really make shopping feel easy and relaxed. Perfect for when I'm out with friends and don't want any hassle.

I was happy to see mapo tofu and dan dan noodles on the menu, not just gyoza. The mapo tofu tasted fresh, with a nice balance of spice and soft tofu. A solid choice for a simple, healthy-ish meal.

The staff took their time explaining the menu, which was really helpful. I had the crispy tacos from Combo B - they were quite satisfying. A comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

Really liked that you can swap the white rice for mixed grains for free. The set meal had a nice grilled fish, some pickles, and miso soup. It felt like a proper, balanced lunch.

The sashimi platter was the highlight. Quality of the fish was evident, justifying the price point. Good presentation too. Service was efficient, though the pace felt a bit rushed for a business lunch.

The tempura and sashimi set was a solid pick for our girls' night. The sashimi was super fresh! We ended up ordering a second plate just for that. Good for sharing, though the tempura could've been a bit crispier.

Good spot for a quick bite near the station. The sushi sets are pretty affordable for the portion size.

Been coming for years. Their vinegared tripe appetizer is always spot-on, a great way to start.

The live whitebait was the main draw, and it was good. But honestly, the sashimi plate was what really stood out for me. Super fresh, thick cuts. For the price, that sashimi portion alone felt like a solid deal. Would go back just for that.

The fish ramen was interesting, a nice change from the usual pork broth. Had it with a cold draft beer, very refreshing. A solid spot for a local-style lunch.

Grilled fish is always fresh here. I usually get the sea bream, but the mackerel is good too. The miso eggplant side is a nice touch.

The motsunabe with grated yam was my pick. The offal pieces were plump and tender, and I really appreciated how the broth was salty yet light. It felt like a healthy, comforting meal even on a warm day.

A cute little spot down an alley, feels like a time capsule! Great for a casual catch-up with friends, and the prices are super fair.

The salmon roe sushi here is really good. The roe was fresh, popped nicely, and the rice had just the right amount of vinegar. It's definitely one of the better versions I've had.

A little hidden gem near Hakata Station! We used the elementary school to find it. The vibe is super cozy, perfect for catching up with friends over some yakitori. Just a heads up, it's cash only.

Been coming here for years. The weekday lunch set is my go-to. Yakisoba, rice ball, miso soup. Always solid, never disappoints. I usually add the spicy egg for a little kick.

Stopped by for a quick bite near my hotel. The summer pickled cucumber was a subtle delight — a perfect little crunch to start. The yakitori and meat tofu were great too. Fun spot for a casual dinner.

Stopped by for the katsudon and soba set. The soba broth was light and a bit sweet, which I liked. The katsudon sauce soaked into the rice really well. A solid, simple lunch.
