2026 Asia 100 - Bars

Came with family. The staff were pretty attentive, even brought a small blanket for my napping child. The T-bone steak was good, and the German potatoes were a nice surprise—not too heavy on the mustard. A solid meal.

Love the vibe here, feels very grown-up and chic. The drinks are good, but it's the view at night that really got me. A bit pricey, but I'd come back just for that.

Been coming here for years, and the cocktails are always spot on. They nail the classics every single time. That consistency keeps me coming back. The menu has some fun twists too, but I usually stick with an old fashioned.

The charcoal yakitori here is great for a quick lunch. Negima and the meatballs were my favorites. Good smoky flavor. Got my order in 10 minutes. Perfect when you're in a rush.

Great spot for a quiet, sophisticated drink. The music adds to the calm, intimate vibe—a nice escape from the busy street above.

I’ve been coming here for years. Always grab a seat at the counter when I’m alone. It’s just a comfortable spot to unwind. The vibe stays relaxed, never too loud. That’s what keeps me coming back.

The Ichiban Shibori is great. I love watching them pour it slowly—it takes a few minutes to get that creamy foam just right. Really adds to the vibe of the place.

The owner really knows his whisky. Great selection of Japanese and Scottish malts, and he helped me pick a perfect one for the evening.

The sommelier here is top-notch! They helped me choose the perfect wine to pair with my meal, and the overall experience was elegant and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a date night.

The lunch set is a good value. I really appreciated how fresh the vegetables in the appetizer were.

Selected for Bars in Tokyo

Great place to grab a beer with friends! They have so many Japanese craft beers on tap. We sat outside, which was perfect for our group. The fried chicken bites were a nice surprise, really tasty with the beer.

The crab dishes, particularly the snow crab and king crab, are remarkably fresh and sweet. With a variety of preparations, from sashimi to hot pot, you can fully savor the delicate and refined flavor of the crab.

The boneless chicken was so good I almost forgot my drink.

The currywurst sauce was the main thing for me. It had a deep, savory curry flavor, really robust and not too sweet. The sausage itself was fine, but that sauce was what made it.

The rotating beer taps are the real draw here. I always find something new and interesting. Their simple snacks are prepared fresh and really hit the spot with a cold pint.

The Guinness here is really good. I stopped by for a drink and the bar stools were comfortable, which was a nice touch. The O’Hara's was pleasant too. A solid, relaxed spot.

Came for the afternoon tea. It's more savory than sweet, which I liked. The Iberian charcuterie and cheeses were the highlight for me.

Service here is top. Staff are super friendly and quick to notice if you need anything. They really make you feel welcome without being overbearing. Got my drink refilled fast. 👍

The frozen beer here is a must-try, the foam texture is really unique. The seats were quite comfortable, which made for a relaxing visit.

Love the vibe here, way better than the main Hub spots. Their whisky happy hour is a steal! 🥃 Tried a few different ones, and the selection is huge. Nice place to unwind after work.

Fun bar with its own distillery! Just note the cover charge per person.

Lunch was nice. I really liked the unlimited bread basket - they had three different kinds. The main dishes were tasty too. It's a good spot for a casual meal.

The afternoon tea at Hilton Tokyo is a delightful experience with a beautiful presentation, especially the tray resembling a birdcage. The combination of savory and sweet items is perfect for sharing with friends.

Drinks are a bit pricey, but the selection is good. Came here after work for one. The quiet area is nice, but you're definitely paying for the location too.
