The staff remembered my usual order and had it ready before I even asked. That kind of attention makes it easy to relax here. Coffee was solid too.

Stopped by the new spot last week. Coffee was solid, had the shakshuka which was pretty tasty. Place looks great, nice vibe inside. Menu's got a good range. Only thing is it was a bit busy so we waited a while for the food. But yeah, decent for a casual bite.

The tasting menu had some real highlights, especially the lamb. Cooked properly, good flavor. Portions are on the smaller side though.

Stopped by for breakfast and the interior really caught my eye—modern but still cozy. The food itself was fresh, which I always appreciate. Portion sizes felt right for the price. Maybe a bit busy when I went, but nothing that ruined the experience. A decent spot if you're in the area and want something light.

The Sphynx cat came and sat on my lap after a minute — that alone made my day. Lemonade was nice, not too sweet. Prices are a bit high though.

The pork belly was the standout. Crispy skin, soft meat, good balance of fat. Menu changes often, so what I had might not be there next week. Vegetarian stuff looked solid too, but I didn't try it. Place is close to the station, easy to find. Would go back just for that pork belly.

Food was fresh and honest, nothing fancy but done right. Service friendly enough. Modern interior, kinda cozy. Solid spot for a quick lunch.

We sat outside between the trees and did the 5-course with wine pairing. Honestly the food was super well thought out, every plate made sense. Service was warm, not stiff at all. Only thing—it’s a bit pricey, but for a chill evening with friends it felt worth it. 🌿

Had a good meal here — the beef and vegetable wrap was really tasty. Service was friendly and the spot is easy to find. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing, the seating was a bit tight, but it didn’t bother me much. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now, and the carpaccio salad keeps me coming back. Had the fried eggs with salmon this time, still solid. Place gets busy but the staff remembers you, which is nice. Not the cheapest spot but you get what you pay for.

Stumbled on this place while wandering around town and ended up staying longer than planned. Got the pasta and honestly it was solid—sauce had real depth. Staff let me sit with my coffee way past finishing it, which I appreciated. Only thing is it got a bit noisy when the afternoon crowd came in. Would go back for the quiet hours though.

Nice location, friendly service and good food, except grilled tomato soup was watery.

The halloumi and za'atar wrap was pretty good. Bread stayed crispy, salad was fresh, flavors worked well together. Decent spot in Nijmegen, glad we stopped in.

I had a delightful meal at this Thai restaurant. The owners are friendly and take the time to chat with guests, which adds a personal touch to the experience.

Spaghetti marinara was solid—fresh pasta, decent portion. Right by the station so super convenient. Tagliatelle al salmone looked good too but I only tried mine. Service was quick enough for a busy evening.

The owner actually knew a lot about dietary needs and allergies. Felt safe asking questions, which is rare for me. The sushi itself was fresh, really clean taste. I liked that they didn't overload the rice. Just a solid, thoughtful meal. Maybe a bit quiet inside, but that worked fine for a solo lunch.

Stumbled into this place and the Art Deco interior really caught my eye. Proper brown café vibe, not trying to be anything fancy. Had a quiet beer, no rush, just nice and calm. Good spot if you want to escape the usual touristy bars around here.

The onion soup came out as vegetable soup, no heads-up at all. Satay had that frozen-skewer thing going on too. Not the best opener, but the wine list saved the evening for me — decent pours without the usual Amsterdam markup. I'd come back for a drink and something simple, just skip the soup.

The breakfast buffet next morning for 75 people went off without a hitch. Food was solid—fresh bread, good cheese, eggs done right. Paul and Niels handled the planning side, quick with replies. Didn't have to chase anyone. That's all I really care about. Maybe not the cheapest option around, but the food held up fine for a group that size.
