The owner from Italy made sure he introduced himself and personally brought and explained dishes at my table which I have huge respect for and exactly what I would expect from a good Italian chef. TheForkUserAn inconspicuous quiet restaurant in Nijmegen. A little fiddly to park as there is no dedicated parking lot with the restaurant. We went for our 20 years wedding anniversary and ordered 4 course dinner with accompanying wine for me. The front part of the restaurant is quiet and classy. We were sat at bay window against the street. It is quite chilly due to single glazed windows and the the heater is not on yet. The service is excellent. We ordered four chef menus and ended up sending back all the mains and leaving before dessert. The fish was not fresh and inedible….the smell of old fish was unbearable. The ingredients may be local but the cooking skill and quality is very low. Avoid
