The marrow toast (velőspirítós) is the reason to come here — that’s the dish everyone talks about and yeah, it lives up to it. The cellar room felt properly old-school, like you’re tucked into a wine cave with low ceilings and stone walls. Prices seemed fair for being right in the old town. Just wish the tables weren’t packed so close together.

Tried the chicken breast with peaches and cheese—creative, but a bit too sweet for me. The house Blaufränkisch was solid.

The waiter was really friendly and took care of us the whole time. Service like that makes a difference, even if the food was just okay.

Solid spot for Austrian classics. Schnitzel was crispy, meat tender. Service friendly, no complaints. Prices fair for the portion. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a seat in the courtyard. Burger was solid, juicy enough, but honestly the Tex-Mex fries stole it for me. Had a decent draft beer alongside—went well with the spice. Soups looked good too, maybe next time. Place has a nice laid-back vibe, nothing fancy.

Decent place for a quick drink by the main square. Got that real ruin pub feel, plenty of beers and cocktails to pick from.

Good quick bite, prices way better than back home in Slovakia. Food was solid, service fast enough. Nothing fancy but does the job for a lunch stop.

Pizza was solid. Kids loved it, staff didn't get in the way. Place is fine for a quick bite, nothing fancy. Maybe a bit loud inside but whatever. Good enough if you're in the area.

We stopped by for breakfast since it was included with our room. The dining room has that old-fashioned charm, nothing fancy but pleasant. Food was decent—fresh, hot, came out quickly. I had the scrambled eggs and they were fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe not worth going out of your way for, but if you're staying here it's a solid option. Pretty good overall.

The pasta was a bit bland, but the pizza options looked great. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Cozy spot overall.

Stopped by for dinner, the food tasted properly local. Waiter spoke German and English, real polite guy. Portions are huge though, one plate is enough for two honestly.

Nice spot in the old town, food was hearty and tasty. Portions are generous for the price, though the terrace cushions get way too hot in the sun.

The staff remembered our order from the last visit—that never happens. Breakfast spread is solid, especially the fresh pastries. Prices fair for a spa restaurant.

The goulash really stood out — rich and hearty, exactly what I needed. Prices were fair for the portion. Terrace was buzzing, maybe a bit loud, but it added to the vibe. Solid quick meal spot.

Staff was great with our kids, really patient and friendly. Local wine was a nice touch too. Solid spot for a family meal.

The Käsespätzle was really good—cheesy, comforting, and clearly made fresh. Portion felt generous for the price. Owner was friendly too.

Gluten-free options were a nice find. Had a glass of local red with the meal, paired better than expected. Vintage decor gives it character. Worth stopping by if you're in Sopron.

Stopped by after the thermal baths and grabbed a sundae. Huge ice cream selection, took me way too long to pick. Staff were really friendly, let me sample a few flavors. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something sweet.

The sundae looked almost too good to eat—almost. Pretty generous portion, and the flavors were solid. Staff were friendly without hovering. I'd say it's a decent spot for a casual dessert stop. Maybe a touch pricey for what it is, but I left satisfied.

The fish soup was really good. Probably the best I’ve had in a while. My friends said the same. Portion size was decent for the price. Service was quick even though the place was busy. I’d go back if I’m in the area again. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Nice little pub not far from the center. Beer was well-kept and the pizza did the job for a casual evening. Nothing fancy, but I’d stop by again if I’m in the area. 🍺

The duck breast with cherry sauce was cooked properly, sauce had a nice tang to it. Menu changes with the season, which I appreciate. That's about all I need from a place like this.

The beef broth hit the spot after a long hike. Tourist plate was solid too, portions are big. Staff were friendly, nothing fancy but that's fine.

Cozy terrace and the cookies were really good. Staff even brought water for my dog, which was nice. Garden furniture wasn't the most comfortable, but for the price, it's fine.

Stopped for a drink, ended up staying for lunch. Food smelled too good to pass up. Lemonade was solid, coffee did the job. Quick service, no complaints.

Food’s decent and portions are generous for the price. Had the chicken paprikash, pretty solid. Service was fine, nothing special, but they weren’t rude either. Place gets a bit noisy when it’s full, but that’s about it. Good enough for a casual meal if you’re in the area.

The pork paprikash was the real deal. Rich, smoky, meat fell apart. Portion was big enough to skip lunch the next day. Price felt fair for what you got. Just remember they only take cash, which caught me off guard. But the food itself made up for that hassle.
