L'Ambiance

TheForkUserFood is good, fresh ingredients. Service is human, not fancy, just nice. In the summer, the terrasse (patio) is especially nice : not far apart from main roads, but it feels calm nevertheless, effortless conversation (a big bonus to me).

TheForkUserI had experienced this restaurant before so I invited 2 lady friends for dinner there. All was excellent and appreciated, except one thing that I had also experienced on my previous visit : the portions are a bit too limited. The only one who had enough and felt satiated was the 20 years old very yslim girl. Her mother ate her portion down to the last grain and I am sure she would have appreciated a larger serving in her plate. I ended my meal still hungy ! I did not complain to the server but I left no tip. If the server had bothered to ask if all was well with our meal - at the end of the meal - I would have certainly coplained the portios are a bit small and stingy for a normal male and onyl ust enough for a normal female.Next time, I shall actually mention this detail right upfront, at the time of ordering.

TheForkUserStand Out From The Crowd.I am lucky enough to have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the world. Arriving at Vroom the decor was neutral the tables spaced apart. From the first mouthful of green salad I knew I had come across a special restaurant. The salad dressing was one of a kind. And almost made me order another green salad. Both myself and my friend myself a trained chef and my friend one of the best cooks I have ever come across;found our meals to be exquisite. She stated at the end of the meal; there are not many restaurants I would go to and eat whatever they would give me. One of us ordered the salmon and the other the steak both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. This was not the only unique thing about the Restaurant; it felt like we took a crash course in Sign language as the waiter was signing to me; it was only on looking at the menu i noticed a whole page was dedicated to sign language and saying what each sign meant as my eyes swung round the room I noticed many of the tables were full of people signing at each other. Vroom was a very happy place with delicious food and a workforce that is made up of deaf people. I have always been told when we lose the ability to use one sense the other senses take over. At Vroom this has certainly been the case I cannot say how good the food was not to mention the service and a very dedicated team who were always there to help. To the Team at Vroom you deserve the rating you get. I am sure should you wish it you have the ability to achieve michellin stars

But it is certainly worthy going back for the excellent food. It is understandable that difficult days happen in every business.

TheForkUserWe drove past this restaurant on the bus and were intrigued by it. So we booked a table and had some lovely Japanese food in there! The ramen and udon noodles are of great quality and so are the gyoza! For dessert I had the yukimi and they were very tasty as well. All in all a great restaurant!
