TheForkUserWe went the other evening, there were 6 of us, we are Americans, we had a really good time, the food was very good, the place was wonderful and top, it felt like being in Dubai... very clean, the manager is very polite gentlemen, he made us feel at home he lived in Los Angeles then we spoke English he seemed American It's very coolThanks
TheForkUserWonderful choice of fine wines. Ask for recommendation. We had an excellent Taurasi wine.Inspired local cuisine. Maybe too many perfumes on the plate. Ex: coffee, mustard and boletus. Sometimes a little too much. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
TheForkUserDegusa was a great family restaurant. The indoor play area is perfect for children aged 4-12. The food was tasty and proce was reasonable. I would definitely recommend it for families.
TheForkUserIncredibly good everything! It smells and tastes wonderful. We were served by Andrea and she was a delight. She could speak Spanish so she helped us with the choice of the menu. When we return to Salerno, we won't hesitate to eat here again.Thank you for the kindness and the delicious dinner.Thank you very much :D
TheForkUserWe have travelled many countries and different parts of Italy. We've been here three times and it's the best pizza we've ever had. I literally had tears in my eyes when sampling the Diavola.
TheForkUserWe had excellent service and the food was delicious! The restaurant is decorated nicely and easy to find. Great place to eat before a visit to the area winery.
TheForkUserThe main course, seared Tuna, came first completely overcooked, so send back to the kitshen…. When it came twice it was not fresh fish, smelled terrible. When I told the staff, they played very upset and even showed a movie that the fish was catched that same morning…… but it was 100% sure not fresh and from a frozen fish…… In the mean time my partner had eaten….so we left the restaurant. By rhe way, the english menu card was just cheap printed paper, used by many more guest and full with stains and cracked. So, overall a not good experience….. not to recommend
TheForkUserWe ate at Il Gozzo a few years ago when we visited Salerno and loved it! We just went back and it was as good as the first time! Great ambiance, wonderful service, and excellent food!
TheForkUserExcellent food and service. Gem of a location right on the river. Very tranquil. We will for sure go back. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic dining experience. Happy New Year.
TheForkUserDelicious food, great selection of beers, cozy atmosphere and very good service. And the price, absolutely worth it!
_TI***1pIf you're looking for a place with spectacular meat and a friendly atmosphere, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out!
TheForkUserEverything about our experience here was just perfect. The host was very friendly, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had and the timings of the courses were spot on. Next time we’re back in the area we won’t hesitate to come here again. A very nice dining experience. Thankyou.
TheForkUserOnly half the menu was available at dinner time - no pasta, steaks etc. The choice was limited to appetisers and panini this was not what we expected. The waiter suggested a range of appetisers - which were very good but having had these, we were full so were unable to eat what we ordered for main course. These looked good too the ambience was noisy and cluttered. In all, not a great experience.
TheForkUserThe welcoming was great, we have received some bites and tomatoes spritz. The communication was hard while we are ordering there for we have been surprised with the kids burger !!! Just piece of meat in the plate (that was a joke). When I ask for chili they answer very quick NO WE DONT HAVE, then they bring some, also when we asked for ketchup for the kid, they didn’t have. Anyway it was experience to try but it didn’t meet the expectations.
TheForkUserSempre tutto al top
TheForkUserWe went on Sunday for lunch. The ambiance of this restaurant is fantastic, with the vines creating a pergola outside and the exposed stone inside. The food is fantastic and the service great. The staff is very polite and helpful and the manager is creating the right work environment. All in all was a great experience and we will definitely be going back!
TheForkUserThis little restaurant on a busy street in Salerno is a typical Italian local place with great seafood and pasta options. The staff are very friendly and keen to ensure you have a good meal. No paper menus, so take a phone to access the digital qr code menu. Also helps if you understand Italian.
TheForkUserExcellent place, creative nicely decorated, phenomenal choice of gins and very creative and tasty food. Service was fantastic, very supportive, even had a menu in english. The choice is very large and everything we ate (and we ate a lot) was very good without any exception - just fantasticWill certainly come back to taste all other meals offered on the menu (so will need to come back often ,-) )Great job
TheForkUserWe enjoyed a nice lunch here where we chose the “Terra Menu”. Food was excellent and we found the view to kitchen nice and honest. There were some very beautiful and tasty servings and the wine recommendation from the sommelier was very good as well. It was quite a “quick lunch” for a Michelin tasting menu and it was over after 1 1/2 hour, which felt a bit hasty for our taste. But overall a nice experience.
TheForkUserExcellent food, we had the tasting menu, a starter, 4 pasta courses and a dessert and a glass of prosecco for 20 euros a head, incredible value! Efficient and timely service too!
TheForkUserFabulous, light, fluffy pizza dough with great tasting tomato & garlic on my Marinara Pizza. Fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and considerate of my limited Italian. Great value.
