TheForkUserWe went to La Citadelle as it was recommended by a friend and what a good recommendation it was. It is in a beautiful position on the bank of the river. The food was excellent, the presentation was tempting and appetizing and got the taste buds working. The flavour was as good as the visual. Would we recommend this restaurant of course we would and look forward to being able to go again.

TheForkUserHad a nice meal tonight with very good service and friendly service. We shared a meat platter to start which was good. The sea bass was very good and I enjoyed it immensely. My husband had the “hamburger” which he thought was a bit bland. He is easy to please and likes just about everything so for him not to care for a something as basic as a hamburger is almost unheard of, which is why I’m only giving 4 stars for this review. I will say we split a Paris-Breast for dessert which was delicious. We had a lovely time though, and appreciated the kind and quick service.
