TheForkUserPrior to dining there, I had read a book documenting the story of the young couple who own this restaurant and how they became oyster farmers on the Bassin d'Arcachon. It was a complete yet wonderful surprise when I was looking for a restaurant on the Fork app and found their restaurant listed. It's high rating by other diners is entirely justified. The view from their terrace is awesome, the service very friendly and the food was great. Granted, oysters can be had for less money on the Bassin, but the beauty of the location is worth paying more. Next time, I hope to meet the owners in person. They seem like wonderful, passionate people who made their dream come true!
TheForkUserLovely outdoor setting for a perfect early summer dinner. The duck magret was cooked to perfection as was the duo artichoke entree, great service, superb wine list.
_TI***8wThis restaurant offers excellent value for money with a diverse menu that is both affordable and delicious. The homemade desserts are particularly noteworthy!
TheForkUserArcachon staple, and perfect location. I’ve been visiting chez Pierre every time I’m in town visiting my family. It’s our to go place. Foir gras to die for, seafood top notch, incredible pigeon, and best crepes in town by far. Attentive and friendly staff. Will go back and back and back.
_TI***l6The view from the restaurant is superb, and the cuisine is made with fresh produce, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
_TI***fsThe service was remarkable during our visit, and the cocktails were enjoyable. The staff, especially Dorine and Issam, made us feel very welcome, which added to the overall experience.
_TI***deThis hotel restaurant features a lovely decor and professional staff. The tuna tataki was a highlight, and the Graves wine complemented the meal beautifully.
TheForkUserThe chef was the nicest guy you could hope for, coming to check on you and seeing if everything was alright. The place is calm and the portion size is absolutely great, we got the "entrecote" and got at least 300g of meat. I'm not from around here but would come back for sure
TheForkUserAbsolutely delicious food! We went on a Saturday night and it was quite a party atmosphere with lots of friends and family of the owners having drinks and dinner there. The service was very friendly and welcoming and we got treated with a cream of whiskey after dinner to drink with the owner / barman! Highly recommended if you want a fun night and super tasty food!
TheForkUserCompared to other oyster restaurants on the Bassin d'Arcachon, this one is of equal quality yet more budget-friendky. The terrace overlooks the channel leading to the Bassin, and while some might be annoyed that it attracts many birds, I liked that natural feel of the locale. The owner, Ines, served tables that night and was quite a great host.
_TI***2jThis restaurant offers excellent cuisine at a reasonable price, making it perfect for a quick lunch. Highly recommended!
TheForkUserWonderful service, even with a full restaurant. The range of flavors was impressive, with great recommended wine pairings.
_TI***1gI had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday here! The royal couscous and tagines were superb, and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
