The sashimi was super fresh, and they gave us a couple extra pieces for free. That was a nice touch. But honestly, for the price, I was expecting a bit more variety in the selection. The quality was there, just felt the portion could've been better for what you pay.

The food was so fresh! I loved how they highlighted the local ingredients. The vibe is relaxed, perfect for a quiet meal. The back sofa area is a nice spot to unwind.

The Shizuoka beer was a nice match for the seafood. The bar stools were a bit high for me, though.

The pancakes are made to order and really good. The space is comfortable and has plenty of seating.

Staff were nice, brought an English menu. Made ordering easy. Felt comfortable here as a tourist.

The fatty yellowtail bowl was so good! The seasoning was just right for the fish, and that shiso leaf made it. Perfect for sharing with friends.

The sashimi platter was huge and super fresh. We had to wait a bit for a table, but the generous portions made it worth it. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Perfect spot for a quick lunch near the temple. The set meals are solid - fresh salad, main, and they even include matcha and mochi. Food came out fast, which is all I need on a busy day. Good quality for the location.

Took a while to find the place, tucked away in a quiet spot. The ramen was really good though, rich broth and tender chashu. Nice to just sit and eat in peace.

The braised pork was a real highlight for me. So tender and flavorful. It’s nice to have such a solid non-seafood choice at a place like this. The booth seating was also very comfortable for a relaxed meal.

The owners are so sweet, they really make you feel at home. My Japanese isn't great, but they were patient and tried their best to understand. The personal touch you get here is hard to find these days.

Kakiage kishimen with fried tofu. Tempura was light and huge, and the broth had a really deep, rich flavor. Felt full and happy for the price.

Convenient spot right across from Mishima Taisha's torii gate. Had a simple lunch here after my shrine visit. The grilled fish set was decent, fish was fresh and cooked just right. A solid, no-fuss meal in a good location.

Just a short walk from Mishina Station's south exit. Perfect for a quick bite before a train. I had the grilled fish set. The fish was very fresh, and the portion of vegetables was generous, which I appreciated. Simple and wholesome.

The izakaya vibe is pretty authentic, with locals sitting on floor cushions. The smell of grilling meat is nice.

The garlic was fried fresh at the table, a huge portion. No weird aftertaste at all. The meat itself was pretty tender, and I liked the dipping sauces they had. Simple but good.

Right inside Shuzenji Station, super convenient. The ordering system is a bit different, you buy a ticket at the souvenir shop counter. Once you figure it out, it’s actually quite efficient.
