The mixed shish with salad and chips was properly done—meat was juicy, not dry at all. Portion honestly could feed two people. The aubergine with salsa was the star though, so good. Bread was a bit meh but whatever. Good spot if you're out with friends and want something casual.

The place looks nothing special from outside, but the fried seafood mix was properly crispy, not oily at all. Fresh pasta was good too. Owner clearly cares about what he serves.

The whipped feta with honey was the standout. Chef’s picks were solid, you can tell they actually care about the food. Wish the portion was a bit bigger though.

The margherita pizza here—crust had that proper charred edge, chewy inside. Tomato sauce tasted fresh, not from a can. Mozzarella was decent, maybe a bit too much for my liking. Ate two slices standing at the counter, didn't even bother with a plate. Good enough that I'd come back just for that.

The service at Aki was attentive and friendly, with staff like Achraf going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience. The overall vibe is trendy and inviting.

No. 3 of Bars in Valletta

The terrace has a nice garden view, that’s the main draw. Pizza and chicken burger were decent for the price, nothing fancy but fresh.

Solid pasta. Had the rabbit ravioli, was pretty good. Place was busy but we got a table fast. Staff friendly enough. One of the better meals I had here.

The pork filet with black pepper sauce was really good. Menu changes often which I like. Just gotta be patient since food takes a bit to come out.

Came here for a casual dinner and left impressed. The food is straightforward but tasty—the pizza capriciosa and chicken pasta were both good picks. Prices are noticeably lower than in Valletta, which is a bonus. The vibe is relaxed, more like a neighborhood diner than a fancy restaurant.

Happy hour here is a proper deal, cocktails and mocktails both done well. We grabbed a table on the terrace, view was lovely. Tried the Bajtra liquor, that local one, really nice. Street noise gets a bit much sometimes, but it's chill enough that you don't mind. Good spot to unwind after work.

The harissa sauce here actually has some heat to it—rare for Europe. Falafel plate was fresh, warm pita on the side. Solid spot if you're craving something spicy.

Service was spot on and the mixed grill for two easily fed three of us. Nice touch getting baklava and tea after. Good spot in San Giljan, though I'd have liked a better wine list to go with the meat.

Been coming here for a while now. Ganesh always remembers our order, food's been consistent every single time. Terrace view is a nice bonus too.

Stopped in for a late lunch and went straight for the seafood linguine. Plenty of clams and prawns, sauce had real depth. Had a glass of crisp Vermentino with it—good call, cut through the richness nicely. Pistachio dessert was a decent way to end. Place was busy but not chaotic. Fair price for what you get.

The rabbit was really good—tender and full of flavor. Manuel and Kaia looked after us well, super friendly. Cocktails were a nice bonus too 🍸

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Fish and chips were solid—big portion, flaky fish, chips actually crispy. No complaints there. Staff got me in and out fast, which I appreciate. Place was comfortable enough for a casual bite. Wouldn't call it a destination spot, but if you're nearby and want something reliable, it does the job.

Solid tuna tartare. Beef was decent too. Got a free digestif at the end which was a nice touch. Place is tucked away in Valletta, easy to miss. Would go back for the tartare alone.

Came here with a few friends and honestly the food was the highlight—everything we ordered was tasty. Service was quick too, which I always appreciate. Maybe a bit busy but that’s a good sign, right? 😄

The lunch set here is solid — main dish plus a drink for 10 euros. I had the grilled fish and it came with a decent portion of veggies. Fish was fresh, not overcooked. For that price in this area, pretty fair. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Would come back if I'm nearby and want something light.
