Been coming here for years now. Still my go-to when I want a proper brown cafe vibe without any fuss. Beer list is solid, always find something new to try. Staff remember you after a while, which says a lot. Place gets busy later, but that's part of the charm I guess. Just a reliable spot.

Been coming here for a while now, and the two-hour deal still holds up. Around €41.50 with a few drinks thrown in, that’s fair for what you get. The live cooking stations are the main reason I keep returning—food’s always fresh, not sitting under heat lamps. Service can get a bit busy on weekends, but that’s expected. Solid spot if you know what you’re paying for.

Great concept - order small dishes and try a bit of everything. Veggie options were a nice touch. Perfect for a quick bite when you want variety without the commitment.

The desserts really stole the show here. Staff were on top of things too, especially with my friend's nut allergy. Plating was lovely, no complaints.

The food was solid again, same quality as last time. Sat outside by the Waal, which is always nice when the weather cooperates. Service was quick, maybe a bit too quick—felt a little rushed honestly. But the bitterballen were hot and crispy, and the beer came cold. Fine spot if you're in the area and don't want to overthink it.

The chef’s tasting menu was solid—each plate looked great and tasted even better. Portions were honestly bigger than I expected for this type of place. We left full, which doesn’t happen often with tasting menus. Service was friendly too, no complaints there. Only thing is it’s not cheap, but for what you get, I think it’s fair. Would come back if I’m in the mood to splurge a bit.

The bitterballen were the real deal — crispy outside, molten inside. Had the saté too, peanut sauce had a proper kick. Place was busy but food came quick enough. Portion sizes are decent for the price. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

The beef bowl had some pretty unusual toppings I wouldn’t normally pick, but it worked. Portion was decent for what you pay. Homemade lemonade was a nice touch too. Not mind-blowing, but I left full and didn’t feel ripped off. That’s enough for me to come back sometime.

Second time here and the steak was just as good. Lamb chops were cooked right too. Staff switched to English without us asking, which helped. Service was fine, not hovering. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the quality holds up. Decent spot if you're in the area.

The veggie and meat spread here is seriously fresh — sliced beef and minced shrimp were the standouts for me. Taro was a nice surprise too. Just a heads up: the marinated chicken is properly spicy, like mouth-on-fire spicy. I was not ready for that level of heat. 😅 Good spot if you're into hotpot with lots of options.

We shared about six plates between the two of us. The eggplant was the one I kept going back to. Duck was pretty good too, though slightly dry on the edges. Service was fine, no complaints there. Decent spot if you're after small plates with some variety. Prices felt fair for what you got.

The surprise menu here is the way to go. Every dish came out looking like something from a food magazine, and the flavors matched the looks. Rich, layered, properly seasoned. No need to stress about what to pick—just let them bring it out. One dish was a bit salty, but that was the only miss. Solid spot.

The dinner menu was a good deal—prawns, schnitzel, and steak all tasted great. Service was friendly and spoke English well. Solid spot for a meal in Eindhoven.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gastrobar Riant with an old friend, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm, friendly service that set the tone for the evening. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome, ensuring that our needs were promptly met throughout our visit. We opted for the chef’s menu, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Each course was a delightful surprise, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and creativity. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, reflecting the chef’s passion and attention to detail. Every bite was a testament to the culinary expertise behind the menu.In addition to the outstanding food, the price-value ratio was impressive. The chef’s menu provided a variety of high-quality dishes at a reasonable price, making it a great option for those looking to enjoy a gourmet experience without breaking the bank.Overall, our evening at [Restaurant Name] was exceptional. The combination of friendly service, excellent food, and great value made it a night to remember. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon!

A very nice location for a restaurant. The outdoor terrace is a great place to hang out. We chose the chef's menu with 6 courses. Quite an experience of flavors and the very nice layout of the plates. The wines offered completed the dishes. A nice evening with good food and drink, definitely worth a repeat visit. An extension of the hospitality could be offering a second cup of coffee at the house's expense.

The food is very nice, service could be faster but quite friendly anyway.

Good restaurant, owner receiving guests, cook in the kitchen and waiter at the same time. Service and service are excellent, plates are nicely laid out and they serve nice wines.

The duck was really tasty, and that peanut sauce is something else. Portions are generous, but the place is small—fine for two people, not for a big group.

Schnitzel list is huge. Dozens of options, all pretty solid. Portions are big, prices fair. Good spot for a hearty meal.

Nice spot right on the Rhine. Got a table by the water without waiting, it was pretty quiet for a Tuesday. Bread and sausages were fine, nothing crazy. The hot mustard though, definitely ask for it, adds the kick the plate needs. Service was chill, not rushing me. Good enough for a relaxed lunch if you're in the area.

The pizza was solid and the price felt fair for what you get. I’d probably just order that next time. The doner plate though... fries were soggy and the meat portion was pretty thin. Place itself is nothing fancy, but fine for a quick bite if you’re in the area.

The schnitzel and potato pancakes were solid, hearty portions. My wine pairing worked well with the meal, though service was a bit slow. Charming old-school place.

The terrace view over the Rhine is lovely, really relaxed up there. We had the schnitzel, which was pretty good—crispy, not greasy. Service was friendly enough, though we waited a bit for the bill. Decent spot if you're in the area and want a nice view with your meal.
