A restaurant with a lot of history! We loved walking around and finished it with an amazing meal! Every dish was excellent and our kids got a present each. Staff was very friendly and approachable. Would very much recommend!

The open kitchen right at the entrance is a nice touch—you can see everything happening. Food was solid, though seating felt a bit cramped.

This restaurant offers excellent value for money. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal.

The ice cream flavors here are always changing, which I love. Tried the honey lavender and it was surprisingly good, not too sweet. Service is friendly, but the line gets long on sunny days. Waited maybe 15 minutes, but honestly worth it for something different.

Solid steak. Tenderloin was cooked right, decent size portion. Location by the old harbor is nice for a walk after. Nothing fancy but does the job.

Atmosphere was really nice, service welcoming but a bit on a slow side. Some of the dishes we really enjoyed, some were however a bit below average - mostly disappointed by the poor quality of the beef.I ordered a surprise menu from the chef and that one I can definitely recommend.Overall I'd say it was average, I don't think we'll be coming back.

Very cozy and friendly "eetcafe" with a nice selection of beers! We had several courses and the top one was the "schnitzel": delicious!Very friendly staff too.

The herring in 'Großmutters' style was really good, creamy and well seasoned. They took our group of nine even though it was late.

Pizza was solid for a late-night stop in Kleve. Staff didn’t rush us even though they were closing up. Good enough that I’d come back.

The duck was cooked beautifully, really tender and full of flavour. Presentation looked lovely too. Slightly pricey, but for that quality I can't complain.

Solid onion soup. Meat was decent, nothing crazy. Prices fair for Weeze. Place was quiet enough for a proper dinner. Not gonna blow your mind but you'll leave full. That's all I need sometimes.

Food was solid and portions generous for the price. Staff friendly enough. Just watch those stairs to the toilet, bit of a climb. 😅

The burgers are properly juicy, you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I had the classic one and the bun held up well. Fries were crispy too, and that homemade sauce... really good. It was busy when I went, so a bit of a wait, but fine for a casual bite. Just wish they had more salad options on the side.

Coffee was good and the sandwich hit the spot. Prices fair, just the wait was a bit all over the place.

Nice spot for a quick drink. Cozy enough inside, service was friendly and fast. Good for a casual catch-up without any fuss.

The carpaccio was fresh and the round steak with fries hit the spot. Portions are generous, no doubt. Staff treated us like regulars, which I appreciated. Just a bit busy for my taste, but the vibe was warm.

Stopped by for a quick bite in the center. Fish and chips were solid, crispy batter and the fish was fresh. They took my food allergy seriously which I appreciated. Prices felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The terrace is nice and green, tucked away in the old city. Cappuccino was solid, and the veggie bruschetta had more flavor than I expected. Lemonade was a bit too sweet for me, but decent overall.

Stumbled on this little place behind the church—super cozy, felt lived-in. Had the homemade apple pie with coffee and honestly, that pie was the highlight. Staff were friendly too. Only thing is it’s a bit small inside, but that’s kinda part of the charm.

We had a fantastic diner at Sense. The service was very high and good. Everything went very smooth and the dishes where more than great/tasteful.

Came here on a Friday night around 10, wasn't too packed which was nice. Staff were really friendly and quick with everything. Can't say much about the food since I only grabbed a drink, but the vibe was chill. Probably gets busier later, but for an early late-night stop it worked fine.

Been coming here for years now, and the salade nicoise is still my go-to. Fish is always fresh, dressing just right. Champagne pours are generous too, maybe a little too easy to keep ordering. Place gets busy around dinner, but the bar area is fine if you're solo. Never had a bad meal here, that's why I keep coming back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and the service was really on point. Got my food fast, portions were decent for the price. The staff actually seemed happy to be there, which makes a difference. Place had a nice buzz to it. Not groundbreaking, but solid if you're in the area and hungry.

The Bossche bol was solid, though seemed smaller than before. Nice spot to grab a drink and watch the cathedral.

Been coming here for a while now, and the fish platter on Saturday was just as good as the first time I had it. Fresh, no fuss, exactly what you want. Service was fine too, nothing to complain about. Place gets busy, but that's a good sign, right? Already looking forward to the next visit.

Nice spot, decent food. Service gets a bit slow when they're packed though. We waited a while for our order, but they did bring a free drink to make up for it.

Solid beef and the dessert really stood out. Location's super central too. Just felt a bit touristy for my taste, but can't complain about the meal.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. Place is small but tidy, and the guy behind the counter was super chill. Prices felt fair for what you get. Didn’t try the food but the tea menu looked solid. Maybe next time I’ll grab a beer instead.

The food was solid — my steak came exactly as asked and the fries were properly crispy. Service kept things moving without hovering, which I appreciated since we had a show to catch. Only tiny gripe: the place got pretty loud as it filled up. Still, a decent spot for a pre-theatre bite.
