Big brunch spread in central Faro, sweet and savory both solid. Portions fair for the price, service just slow when packed.

Came for the steak and honestly it didn&rsquo;t disappoint. Tender, juicy, decent size portion. The pepper sauce on the side was a nice touch. Service was friendly and quick even though the place wasn&rsquo;t busy. Would eat that again for sure.

The Thursday duck rice special is the one to get. Really tender meat, and the rice soaks up all the flavour. You can tell it&#39;s a family running the place, they put actual care into it. Went on a Monday once and had the pork cheeks, also solid. Just wish they had more seating, gets a bit tight.

The place has really stepped up since the last time I was here. The meat quality is much better now, and there&rsquo;s a good selection of things to grill. It&rsquo;s a solid pick for Asian BBQ in the Algarve. I just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but it wasn&rsquo;t a dealbreaker. Service was friendly enough, and I didn&rsquo;t have to wait long for anything.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the grilled fish with quinoa salad. The fish was fresh, flaky, not overcooked at all. Quinoa had a nice texture, light dressing on the side. I appreciate that they don&#39;t overload everything with salt. Portion felt right for the price. Garden seating is quiet, good for a slow meal. Maybe service slows down a bit when it gets busy, but nothing to complain about really.

The staff helped us pick our dishes and even the wine &mdash; super nice. Sea bass and tomato salad were the standouts. Great spot right by the avenue, easy to find. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends 🙂

The King of Sweets is still at it &mdash; 80 years old and baking like a champ. Pastries taste homemade, not factory-made. Place is dated, sure, but that&#39;s the charm.
