TheForkUsergreat atmosphere, amazing food, nice staff. however getting the staff to pay attention to us was difficult and i’ve lived in europe more that 6 years so i’m used to the etiquette. this was on another level. i think it would help if they communicated their intent esp when bringing the bill—we had to ask twice and only were paid attention to when we got tired of waiting and stood up to leave—my friend already half way out the door and fed up with their lack of attention.

TheForkUserI have eaten in Basils since 2020 and I love it! It is my favorite pizzeria! I am always looking forward for my next monthly visit. I have friends who come from Mons, Nivelles and Charleroi for the pizza at Basils.

TheForkUserGreat place, the food was really good and cheap, the atmosphere was on point thanks to their cool DJ, was surprisingly not crowded until 10:30 pm when people gathered for drinks. The staff was friendly and fun! I would come here often if I lived in Brussels, amazing spot!

TheForkUserWe went for a date night out, after a hard day of work. Very friendly staff, beautiful interior design, comfortable seats, dining area. The restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza Hotel Brussels airport. We ordered a mocktail and a cocktail. Very tasty, surprising flavors, our waiter Romuald (if I'm right) explained in a very professional but funny way how the cocktail is made, he was always available and the service went very smooth. As a main dish we took the Beef tartar and a club sandwich. The beef was cut a bit roughly, I would prefer it in smaller pieces. But the seasoning was nice with the cilantro and lumpfish eggs, salad and fries. Club sandwich was tasty. Price - quality a very good brasserie with friendly staff, beautiful interior. We would definitely come back in the summer to test their terrace, garden.

TheForkUserThe service was incredible, the ambiance was lovely. Regarding food, we got as starters rhe croquetas de jamon and the octopus starter. Both of them absolutely delicious, the reduction on the octopus was delicious and the grey alioli was an impressive touch. Then as a main course we got the shrimp burgers with guacamole. Was expecting something fancier than literal shrimp on top of a supermarket bun. The bun was not properly toasted, the guacamole seeped into it and made the whole burger very mushy. It was rather unpleasant as a texture. The taste was fine. Then as dessert we got the flan catalan and the caffe gourmande. The caffe gourmande was just ok, coffee machine product. The flan was not set yet so it was very soupy. From the starters, to the main and then the dessert, the experience kept losing points. The starters though, they were truly impeccable. Would 100% recommend the starters and I would stay away from the shrimp burgers.

TheForkUserAmazing restaurant in a historic building in the Anderlecht district of Brussels. You are seated in the beautiful and calm dining room and have a choice of two versions of the tasting menu. I went for the full menu, and every single food item (more than 15 in total arrived at my table) were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and made from the finest ingredients. I would give the food 6 stars if I could. The lemon with caviar and langoustine was particularly delicious. Also, the service is fantastic. I had the pleasure of having Fabio take care of my table and he was extremely attentive, very friendly and professional. He is very knowledgeable about the food, the wine and also about the history of the restaurant and the background of the chef and his wife who runs the dining room so smoothly. They all go out of their way to ensure guests have an excellent experience. This was my first visit to La Paix, but I can, without hesitation, give it my very best recommendation.

TheForkUserVery nice and friendly owners, I booked a table for 6 and we were one hour late but they still held on to our table. One of us had a dog and dogs were also allowed. Great service and delicious scampi a l'ail and also the main course - ravioli a la truffe et ricotta it was so delicious and fresh. The cocktail maison is prosecco with violet liquor and it was exquisite. Will definitely go back there again.
