Pad Kee Mow was spot on, really fresh. They don't hold back on the heat though, fair warning! Had to ask for a little less spice. Staff were chill about it. Good vibe in there.

The nut-based blueberry cheesecake was a nice surprise. Really rich and creamy. Got it to go during a quick lunch break, perfect for a sweet treat.

Finally got around to trying their Sunday roast. The beef was so tender it just fell apart, and those roast potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The gravy was spot on too. Properly hit the spot on a grey Sunday.

The eggs bene croissant was the standout. Perfectly runny yolk on a buttery, flaky croissant base. The hollandaise had a nice sharpness to it. The maple chai latte was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the spice blend was good.

The Cantonese dim sum here is spot on. I'm from Hong Kong and was genuinely impressed. The dumplings had that familiar, delicate flavour. The space itself is quite nice, very relaxed and open.

Came here for breakfast and the staff were so friendly! I had the avocado toast with a poached egg, and the yolk was just runny enough. It's a cosy spot, really enjoyed it.

Been here a few times. They've got a good range of beers and the cocktails are well made, you can tell the staff put thought into them. Nice spot for a group or just a quiet pint.

Really liked the vibe here, felt safe and relaxed. The door team, Gee, Baba and Xavier, were spot on - made sure everyone was comfortable. You don't get that everywhere.

The Lamb Karahi here is a standout. The meat was so tender, cooked perfectly in that rich, spicy gravy. Sheesh kebab was good too. Honestly, didn't expect to find such solid Indian food tucked away here. Portions are generous for the price.

The fish and chips are definitely better than they were last year. Good to see they take cards now.

Serious coffee knowledge here. The barista asked a few questions and suggested a pour-over. It was incredibly smooth, one of the best I've had. Cakes looked great too, maybe next time.

Lunch stop. Husband's pork focaccia sandwich looked great. My quiche Lorraine was solid, fresh sides. Busy spot, short wait. Drinks came quick though.

The spicy beef noodles were the real deal. Properly chewy noodles, a rich broth with a good kick, and tender beef. The spring roll was crispy, not greasy. For under £8, that's a solid lunch.

Grabbed the chicken shawarma wrap for a quick lunch with a mate. Seriously generous portion, the bread was still warm! Perfect for when you're chatting and don't want a fussy meal. Got it in like 8 minutes.

Nice spot for a casual pint. The staff are super friendly, always remember my usual. Makes it feel like a proper local, even on a first visit.

They do gluten-free fish on Tuesdays, which is a nice touch. Mine was massive, honestly huge. Really tasty. A proper treat for a change.

Been coming here for years and the omelette is always spot on. Just the right amount of fluffy, never greasy. That's why I keep coming back.

Jacob and Natalie were so nice to our big group. Jacob at the bar remembered what we liked to drink, and Natalie checked on us without being pushy. Just felt really looked after.

Been coming here for years. The food's always hot when it arrives, straight from the kitchen you can see. That's the main thing for me, never lets you down.

Been back two nights in a row for the half lot with peas. The fish fritters are a real winner. The place itself is just right for a casual solo dinner, nothing too fancy.

Been coming here for years. The pizzas are always spot on - crispy base, loads of toppings. The owner's a top bloke, always has a chat. Just a solid local spot.

A nice Sunday roast. The beef was cooked just right, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Good portion of greens. The gravy was a bit heavy for my taste, but the quality of the ingredients really came through.

Stopped by for a classic fish and chips fix. They do a vegan version with banana blossom, which was a nice surprise. You can even pick your cooking oil. The banana blossom was crispy, tasted pretty good.

First time trying their vegan options. The Tom Kha Kai with mushrooms was a lovely surprise, not even on the menu!

I love the vanilla and lemon sorbet swirl here. It's a really refreshing combo, not too sweet. The seating was a bit tight, but the staff were so friendly and helpful. A lovely, simple treat.

The cod is consistently good, cooked fresh to order. It's a reliable spot for a classic, no-fuss meal. Portions are decent, though the sides could be a bit more interesting.

Cakes, scones, the lot - all really tasty. But the portion for the price? That's what got me. The afternoon tea set was a decent size for two, didn't feel short-changed. Solid value.

The homemade pies are a bargain and very tasty. I liked the simple, no-fuss vibe in here – just a solid spot for a good-quality bite with your pint. The wooden tables and benches felt proper cosy.

The ham and egg Benedict was the highlight for me. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise was light and not too rich. The ham tasted really fresh, which I always appreciate. A solid choice for a healthier brunch option.
