Great quick lunch spot. Owner was nice and gave me a smaller pasta portion so I could save room for dinner. Perfect for a fast bite.

The lunch deal is a steal - two of us ate for under £20. Portions are huge, honestly couldn't finish mine. Good, honest food for the price.

Loved the backyard seating. It felt so cozy and rustic, just the right relaxed vibe for dinner. A bit chilly later on though.

Busy but nice vibe. The lobster ravioli from the specials was really good. Staff were quick and professional, which I appreciated. My only thing was the chairs were a bit hard for a longer dinner.

Been coming here for years. The terrace view is the main draw for me, never gets old. It’s just a really solid spot for a pint by the water.

The lamb curry was the best part. Really flavourful but not too spicy, just how I like it. Had it with some rice and it was a solid, filling meal.

Service was quick and friendly. The cod was tasty, the tea was a nice touch. Food came out fast, which was good as we were just popping in. 👍

Popped in with a couple mates after work. The fish and chips were spot on, and the burger was huge! Got two mains, a pint, and service for under £25 each. Perfect for a casual catch-up without breaking the bank.

Been coming here for years, the coffee's always spot on. Their pastries change daily, had a fantastic raspberry danish this morning. Love that they've got a proper outdoor bit for the dog.

Lovely family-run spot. The staff were so sweet to our pup, brought him a water bowl without us even asking. That kind of warm welcome makes all the difference.

Nice evening here. The staff were friendly and the space itself is quite pleasant. A decent spot for a relaxed dinner.

Grabbed a takeaway lunch here. The compostable packaging and wooden fork is a nice touch, feels a bit more considered. Food was decent too.

Been coming here for years. It’s a proper local spot, not flashy. The soup is always spot on, really hearty. Staff are dead friendly. Nice they let you bring the dog in too.

Sat outside, the view of the village was lovely. The cod in the fish and chips was enormous, and the chips were perfectly crispy. My wife's pulled pork nachos were tasty too. Prices felt reasonable for what we got.

Grabbed the Yorkie and Pedigree hot dogs with friends. The Yorkie was so good, we almost ordered another! Staff were still smiling in that crazy heatwave, which was nice. A solid spot for a casual catch-up.

Popped in for lunch in the village. Got the Yorkshire pudding wrap with chicken and onion, plus chips and gravy. It was all homemade, which was nice. The portion was huge though – couldn't finish it all. Good for the price.

The cask ales here are spot on. Had a pint of their seasonal bitter, proper cellar temperature and a nice creamy head. The manager mentioned they rotate the hand pumps weekly, which explains the fresh taste. A bit pricier than the pub down the road, but you're paying for the quality.

The ice cream is so creamy, I had to get a second scoop. They also do cakes and hot food until early afternoon, which is a nice option. Prices are fair for what you get.

Love that this place is so dog-friendly. Our pup was made to feel right at home. Ollie the pub dog came over for a pat, which was a nice touch. Great vibe for a relaxed Sunday lunch with the family.

The chicken selects were spot on, really crispy and juicy. The sour cream and chive dip was a great match. Table service is a nice touch, makes it feel a bit more relaxed than the usual counter order.

The sticky toffee pudding is so good, it's become my go-to dessert here. Staff are lovely and it's easy to hop on a bus to get to.

First visit, and I really liked the space. It's clean, feels well-run, and the tables are nicely spaced out. The natural light in the afternoon was a nice touch. Food was fresh, which matched the vibe.

Proper pub, their well-kept ales are a real treat.

The full English was cooked just right. The house ale was a solid pairing, though the coffee could be a bit stronger.

Been coming here for years, and the scones are still the highlight. Fresh out of the oven every morning, served on those lovely old plates. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

The host here is so lovely! She chatted with us about Thailand while we waited for our pad thai. It felt like having a friend show you around. Made the whole meal way more fun than just grabbing food.
