Lovely welcome, and they made a dish off-menu for my husband without any fuss. The chicken was really good quality, and the sauces were something else. Came to about £60 with drinks.

The steak and chorizo in red wine is a must-order here. It's always piping hot and the portions are huge, perfect for sharing with a couple of friends. We always end up with leftovers. The food is reliably fresh and tasty.

Had a lovely lunch with friends! The pasta was spot on, and the staff were so friendly. It's a great spot for a casual catch-up. The only thing was it got a bit loud when it filled up, but that's just the vibe.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The grilled octopus was spot on, really tender with a nice char. Staff were chill and didn't rush us, even though it was busy. Might pop in again next week.

Lovely breakfast here! The eggs were perfectly runny and the bacon crispy. Staff were super friendly and got it out fast while it was still piping hot. Really hit the spot.

The loaded chips were the star for me – crispy outside, fluffy inside, and that cheese sauce was just right. Latte was smooth too, a really good one. Panini was solid, but those chips stole the show.

Food's always solid, prices fair. Even on a packed Friday night, got our mains in about 25 minutes. No complaints on the efficiency front.

Lovely little village pub. The apple crumble was spot on - proper homemade, not too sweet. Just the right thing after a long walk. The locals were friendly, made us feel welcome. A nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Dog friendly, which is a plus. The atmosphere is classic Yorkshire pub, and locals were welcoming. A solid choice for a quick pint after work.

The Sunday roast is what I come for. Massive portions, the beef was tender and the Yorkshire puddings were clearly homemade. Gravy had a good depth of flavour. It's a solid, no-fuss roast.

The mussels in white wine cream were lovely, and the broth was delicious. We used the bread and fries to soak it all up. For the price though, the portion felt a bit small.

Decided to try the hotel restaurant for a quick bite. The two-course set menu was about £25. Portions were decent, not huge, but enough for the price. You get what you pay for here.

Lovely village pub, perfect for a sunny afternoon in the garden. Had the fish and chips, which was decent. The real star was the local ale they had on tap – a crisp, hoppy number that paired brilliantly with the food. Just wish they had a few more options by the glass.

The set meal for two was lovely. The wine pairing was spot on, and the staff were so attentive without being intrusive. Just felt really relaxed the whole time.

The soup of the day was really nice. Had the loose leaf tea with honey and lemon too, which was a good little extra. Staff were polite and got things done quickly. A solid spot for a quiet lunch.

Been coming here for breakfast for a year now. I really appreciate the consistent quality. The scones are always fresh and not overly sweet, which I look for. A solid choice for a simple, wholesome start to the day.

Dinner out of this world was a really good carvery plenty meat staff more than freindly and help full good valve for money be goin again 10/10

The parmo was spot on. Really good portion, crispy on the outside and the cheese was just right. A solid choice if you're in the area.

Been here a few times. The food's always lovely, and the place looks smart. Good for a quiet dinner.

Been coming here for years, and the staff always get it right. They're attentive but never hover or interrupt your meal. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Cosy spot, perfect for people-watching. The seats inside are so comfy, you can just sink in and lose track of time. It's that kind of place where you can just be.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. Curry and toasted sandwich were solid, decent portions. Place got pretty loud when it filled up. Good for a fast bite if you're in a hurry.

Been coming here for years. The portions are still generous, and the real ale's decent. It's a solid local spot for a straightforward meal.

The food here feels just like a home-cooked meal. The staff are so friendly, which makes the whole experience very relaxed. It's nice to know the place supports a good cause, too. Prices are very fair for what you get.

The garlic mushrooms were so good we ended up ordering a second plate to share. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

Food's legit. Took a bit to come out, but you can tell it's made fresh. Flavours are spot on. Good for a quick, proper bite.

Coronation chicken sandwich is a winner. Soft bread, fresh coleslaw. Got it to go, was ready in minutes. Perfect for a quick lunch.

Sticky toffee pudding was good, but the portion was a bit small for the price. The homemade bread was a nice touch, but I was still a little hungry afterwards.

Stayed upstairs, so popped in for a bite. The rooms are spacious and clean, which was a nice surprise. Good for the area.
