Power outlets at the counter seats are a smart touch for travelers.

The basement smoking room here is a real plus for me. It's got space, and you don't feel cramped. Hard to find that in the city these days.

The rare cheesecake here is a good match for their coffee. It's light, not overly sweet, so it balances the bitterness nicely. A solid choice for a simple afternoon break. The set price is reasonable.

Buttered toast was warm. Perfect with the royal milk tea. Service was attentive, too. Just a solid, simple breakfast.

Got the beef stew for a quick lunch. It was actually warm and had good flavor, not like the usual reheated stuff. Hit the spot for a fast, filling meal.

I tried their seasonal kakigori. It was interesting, like ginger ale you can eat with jelly bits inside. The portion was quite generous for the price, definitely felt like a good deal for a specialty dessert. I'd get it again.

Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The food was exactly what I was hoping for from Sawamura.

The elderly couple who run this place are very sweet. Service can be a bit slow when they're busy, but it feels genuine and adds to the local character. A nice, authentic experience.

Love this basement spot. Feels like stepping back in time. Their hand-drip coffee is the real deal. No bitterness at all. Pudding is perfectly firm and creamy. Just a simple, solid place.

Been coming here for years. The staff is always patient and kind, even when my Japanese is a bit rough.

The pancake was thick and fluffy, with a crisp edge. The maple syrup was real, not that thin, fake stuff. It soaked in just right. A bit more butter on top would've been perfect. That's really all I notice.

Been coming here for years. Love the 7th floor spot inside the electronics store. It's my go-to for a quiet coffee. Never feels crowded, even on a Saturday. Just a calm spot above the street noise.

A cozy, dark-wood space that feels like a quiet escape from Shinjuku. The comfortable booths were a nice touch.

The smoking room’s ventilation is a nice touch—no lingering smell at all. The place feels fresh after the renovation. Wi-Fi’s strong, and coffee prices are fair.

A cozy spot across from the vintage shops. The Americano was just right for a quiet afternoon. The seat was comfortable, which made the whole visit feel very relaxed. A nice, simple bite to go with it.

The coffee is always so good here, really aromatic. The staff are polite and the store is very clean. I appreciate that the seating is comfortable and spaced out nicely, it makes for a relaxed morning.

Came here to get some work done. The music was relaxing, not too loud. Plenty of power outlets available, which was a big plus. The atmosphere is calm and good for focusing. Stayed for a few hours with a coffee.

A simple breakfast, but the toast with strawberry jam was really nice. The portion was generous, which was a pleasant surprise. The seats were comfortable too, a good spot for a relaxed morning.

The temari sushi was so pretty, like little jewels. I just stared at them for a minute before eating. The whole set felt delicate. The unlimited soft drinks were a good idea, though I mostly just had tea.

Upstairs is way better, more space and there's a bathroom. Got the chocolate croissants for breakfast. They were really tasty and not expensive, but kinda small. Fine for a chill snack.

Love the variety of coffee bean options here, especially the Royal Crystal blend. The beans always taste so fresh.

Great spot for getting some work done. Plenty of space upstairs, and the WiFi held up all afternoon. The pumpkin tart was a nice treat, though I wish they had a coffee option better suited to pair with it.

Perfect spot inside Ikebukuro Station. Grabbed a coffee and a sandwich during my lunch break. Had Wi-Fi and an outlet, so I could check emails while eating. Quick and easy, exactly what I needed.

Even with the occasional wait, the shaved ice's quality and flavor make it well worth a visit, offering many unique and playful choices.

Got the lunch set with cheese curry doria, salad, and coffee for 900 yen. The portion was huge, really filling. Big pieces of meat in the doria too. Good deal for the price.

The hotcakes are a solid classic. Their house coffee pairs really well with them, and the refill deal is a nice touch.

Always look forward to their seasonal donuts! The Halloween and Christmas sets were so cute. My favorite was the Caramel Baby Reindeer—the caramel had a nice balance, not too sweet at all. A fun little treat.
