A proper pub for real ale fans. Tried the pork scratchings, nice and crunchy. The bitter was spot on, just what you want after a long day. Good spot for a quiet pint.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful here. They took our order quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. It's a comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

Service is efficient here. Staff recognised me from previous visits and had my usual order ready. It's a small thing, but it saves time during a busy lunch hour. Makes the routine stop feel a bit more personal.

Lovely relaxed spot. The staff were so attentive - noticed my water was low and refilled it without me asking. That kind of small gesture really makes a difference.

The ham and cheese toastie was good, but honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Always a nice visit. The staff are so friendly and the booths are really comfortable.

The garlic cheese naan is so good I ordered it twice. A bit pricey for the portion, but the flavour is spot on.

The cod and chips portion was huge, couldn't finish it all. Proper, chunky chips, just how they should be. Good, honest food.

Been coming here for years. The egg fried rice is consistently spot on, that's what keeps me coming back.

Birthday dinner. They brought out a little cake with a candle. Nice touch. Food was solid, nothing mind-blowing but tasty. Service was quick.

Popped in to get some work done. Wi-Fi held up fine, plenty of sockets for the laptop. Seats are comfy enough for a few hours. Good spot for that.

Decent spot to get some work done. Plenty of space and comfy chairs, so you can settle in for a while. The coffee prices are okay, but I did notice the pastries are a bit on the small side for what you pay.

Been here a few times now. The lobster is always so fresh and perfectly cooked. Honestly, you wouldn't guess from the outside, but the kitchen really knows what it's doing.

Really liked the vibe here, it's a proper cosy pub. The staff were so nice and actually remembered what I was drinking from earlier. Felt like a local even though it was my first visit.

Popped in just before closing, and they were still so welcoming. The fishcakes were the highlight for me - really fresh, with a lovely crisp outside and a soft, flaky centre. A nice surprise for a late dinner!

Bacon sandwich and a hot drink for a fiver? Yes please. The sandwich was proper, thick cut bacon on soft bread. Staff were dead sound, no issues at all. Spot on for a quick lunch.

Nice spot for a quiet lunch. I had the soup and a sandwich, both were fresh and just right. The staff are friendly and not at all rushed, which makes it a very comfortable place to sit for a while.

The owner is so lovely, always chats while making your toastie. Makes it feel like a proper local spot to catch up with mates.

Good veggie options. Red curry had a nice kick, tempura veg was crispy. Vegan vanilla ice cream was a solid finish.

The outdoor patio is a lovely spot for a morning coffee. Their house blend paired nicely with the quiet atmosphere.

Lovely little place. The beef and horseradish sandwich was spot on, really fresh bread. Nice selection of teas too.

The gluten-free pizza and garlic bread were spot on. Had to ask the server to confirm they were actually GF. Good to see a place that puts proper effort into their gluten-free menu.

Nice spot to hang out and chat. The chairs are all different, and there's a bookshelf at the back. It's a chill vibe, but I wish the drinks weren't quite so pricey for what you get.

Nice quiet spot, no loud music. Had a coffee and a sandwich, just sat for a while. It's clean and there's plenty of space, which is good. A decent place to just be.

Really liked the relaxed vibe here. The coffee was good, but what stood out was how fresh the ingredients felt. You could tell the avocado in my toast was perfectly ripe, not mushy at all. It's a nice local spot for a simple, quality bite.

Popped in for a coffee with a friend. The retro vibe is actually really nice for a catch-up, not too loud. Coffee was good, and the parking out front is a total bonus. We ended up staying longer than planned.

Solid fish and chips, good portion size. The pub is clean and well-kept. A reliable spot for a straightforward meal.

Stumbled across this spot in Ludlow. The homemade scones were really good with my coffee. Nice to sit outside.

Lovely little independent spot in Gloucester. Popped in with a couple of friends for a catch-up. The scone with clotted cream was so good! The music was just right for chatting, not too loud. Perfect for a relaxed afternoon.
