The bar staff were so friendly and welcoming. I had a couple of drinks and some Thai snacks - the spring rolls came out fast, hot, and perfectly crispy. A really nice, relaxed spot for a casual evening.

The fish and chips portion is huge, perfect for sharing with mates. The batter was super light and crispy, and the chips had that proper crunch. We were all fighting over the last few! A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Great spot for a quiet pint. The landlord clearly cares about the place, gives it a proper pub feel that's hard to find now. Had the steak and ale pie - pastry was spot on, rich filling. Just what you want on a damp evening.

The Sunday roast is a solid choice. Beef brisket was properly tender with a nice smoky note, and the Yorkshire pudding had that good, crisp rise. Portions are generous, we couldn't finish it all. A satisfying meal.

Had a great Christmas lunch here. The turkey was spot on - really moist and the gravy was just right. The whole place had a lovely festive buzz, even though it was packed.

Vegan katsu curry was my quick lunch pick. Good portion, came out fast. The curry flavour was spot-on, really hit the craving. The chocolate torte was decent too. Presentation was a bit simple, but for a quick bite it did the job.

Rob the landlord is lovely. It’s a proper local near Oxford Circus, and the cosy, worn-in feel keeps me coming back.

Ethan was brilliant during our bottomless brunch. He kept our glasses topped up without us even asking, which was perfect for our group chat. Made the whole thing so easy and fun.

Large pub with a unique vibe, used to be a cinema. The mezzanine is a good spot for a quiet drink. Food was decent, but the service felt a bit slow for a weekday lunch.

They really pay attention to what people say. I noticed a few small tweaks on the menu since my last visit, and the service felt a bit more polished. It’s nice to see a place that actually listens.

First time since the new owners took over. The chef's new menu is really interesting, especially the vegetarian options.

This restaurant is a gem for alfresco dining, featuring two outdoor areas including a lovely roof terrace. The menu is diverse, and the food presentation is outstanding.

If you're looking for a unique cocktail experience, this bar offers an impressive selection of absinthe and expertly crafted drinks. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about mixology.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates! The Chicken Kiev was huge and really tasty. Quick, friendly service meant we weren't waiting around between rounds of drinks. The oysters were just okay for me, but the vibe and portions are spot on for a group.

Kelvin was a great server. Friendly, not pushy. Suggested the fish special and it was spot on. Good to see that kind of service around here.

While the food and ambiance were excellent, there was much confusion upon arriving (when we actually found the place). We had a reservation and a confirmation for the Hamptons Bar but staff had no idea what The Fork was and stressed they were just a bar and didn’t serve food and we must be in the wrong place. Turns out it was the courtyard restaurant at the Taj Hotel, which wasn’t what the reservation said. Someone needs to get their information straight. Were we the first people to ever make a Fork reservation here?? All in all, our meal was very good and we would come again.

First time trying the Old Hill steak burger and it was a proper treat. The patty was juicy and cooked just right, with a nice char on the edges. The fish and chips were fresh too, but that burger is the one I'll remember.

Been coming here for years, and the Scotch egg is the reason. It’s always just right—the yolk still runny, the sausage perfectly seasoned. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. The upstairs area is a lifesaver when the main bar is packed. It’s quieter, feels more private. Always ask for a table up there if I can.

Decent pub grub but a step up. Their burger was solid, juicy patty and good bun. Fish and chips were crispy. Craft beer selection on point.

Lovely place seating near quiet inner courtyard. Music low enough not to interfere with conversation. Staff very attentive and good food.

The location is special, right under the arches, and the atmosphere is vibrant with live jazz music. A perfect spot for a night out.

The staff were really considerate about dietary needs. Our waitress Zina took great care with my wife's allergy, which was very reassuring.

The staff, particularly Millie and Nina, offer truly exceptional and personalised service, making each visit a memorable one.

The steak and ale pie here is the real deal. Properly hot, rich gravy, and a lovely flaky crust. Just what you need after a chilly evening at the Bridge. The mash was a bit too buttery for me, but the pie itself was spot on.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. Managed to get a table in the dining room where you can see the kitchen. It’s a busy spot, so booking ahead is key. The roast was solid, but the potatoes could’ve been crispier.

Always excellent. A little whiter after work than it is at lunchtime, but a great menu, lovely atmosphere, and brilliant service from friendly, helpful staff.

The sommelier was spot on with the wine suggestions for our budget. Staff took time to explain the different cuts, which was appreciated. Service felt professional without being stuffy. A solid choice if you care about the drinks list.

Been coming here for years. It's my local, just a short walk from the Oval. The Guinness is always spot on, poured right. Food's decent and reliable, nothing fancy. A solid place for a pint and a bite.

The sticky chicken here is a proper treat. It’s got this sweet, savoury glaze that’s just right, not too heavy. The Scotch egg was a nice surprise too, with a perfectly runny yolk.
