The curry at the end was fantastic, really rich. A perfect match for a bold red wine after all that meat. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but the flavor was spot-on.

The food at Mikuni is truly exceptional, with each dish showcasing the rich flavors of Hokkaido ingredients. The lobster parmentier was a highlight, although I found it a bit challenging to cut. Overall, a delightful dining experience!

The seaweed chips were a nice surprise. Booking online was straightforward, and the seats were comfortable for a relaxed meal.

The all-you-can-eat course is solid. Good selection of meats, and they have Sapporo Classic on the drink menu. Went for it and just kept the plates coming. Felt like a decent deal for what you get.

Came back for the shabu-shabu after trying their western menu the night before. The broth was so light and flavorful, perfect for dipping the thinly sliced beef. Ended up being my favorite of the two visits!

The atmosphere is lively, and the restaurant is filled with fun messages under the tables. It adds a cozy touch to the dining experience.

Shashi was super friendly and quick. Perfect for a fast lunch break. Got the chicken curry, it was hot and ready in minutes. Just what I needed.

Cozy, rustic spot that feels like a relative's home. Staff were friendly. The complimentary salad was a nice touch, fresh greens with a simple vinaigrette. A comfortable place for a casual meal.

The view from the window is really nice, especially with all the snow. It's a good spot to take a break after skiing. The food was fresh and the prices seemed fair for the area.

Been coming here for years. Love that they do half portions of the meats, so I can try a bunch of different things when I'm out with friends. The vibe is always good for a casual hangout.

The owner really cares about Jain and vegetarian guests. I saw them preparing the paneer tikka in a separate area, which felt thoughtful. The staff was friendly, but the main thing for me was how clean and organized the kitchen area looked from my seat.

The miso ramen special was good, especially the tender char siu. The fried rice had plenty of meat too.

Cozy spot with private rooms. The counter seating is comfortable, and the sparkling wine by the glass is nice.

The champon here is pretty good. The noodles are thick and chewy, and they soak up the soup nicely. I enjoyed mixing everything together with the big spoon. The soup was a bit salty for my taste, but it was a decent meal.

Been coming here for years, and I always grab a counter seat. The little bag hooks are such a thoughtful touch—saves my stuff from the floor every single time. It's a small thing, but it shows they care about the regulars.

Stumbled upon this tiny place in Nijo Market. Felt like stepping back in time. Mostly locals eating here, which is cool. Had the miso ramen, broth was rich. A bit cramped but that's part of the charm.

The chicken wings were the star. Juicy inside, crispy outside, just how I like them. Ate them so fast, barely touched my main. 😅
