The bangers and mash were decent enough, chips were proper crispy. Live music upstairs was the best part though&mdash;second floor felt way more relaxed than the crowded bar below. Portion size was fair for what you pay, didn&#39;t leave hungry. Wouldn&#39;t say it&#39;s a hidden gem or anything, but it does the job if you&#39;re in the area.

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed a seat by the window. The place is bright, plenty of room between tables. Had the grilled fish&mdash;cooked properly, flaky, no complaints. Staff were friendly without hovering. Pairing it with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc worked well, though the glass was a bit small for the price. Solid enough if you&#39;re in the area and want a relaxed bite.
