The bitterballen were spot on&mdash;crispy outside, warm and gooey inside. Had a local beer with them, that combo did the job. Nothing fancy, just solid bar food.

Beer was cold, nachos were not it. Tiny portion, barely any toppings. Fine for a quick drink though.

Stumbled on this little family-run cafe by accident. Lentil soup was proper comforting, and the avocado hummus toast had a nice kick to it. Quiet enough to sit with a book for an hour. Wish the portions were a bit bigger though. Definitely going back for that soup.
