I stayed in this small town for a short time. The first impression was that it was beautiful, quaint, quiet, and had beautiful buildings. At this moment, I was probably the "only" "Chinese face". There were still many people "observing" my face on the road. As you can imagine, in a small city of 70,000 people, there was one Chinese person, which was a bit "strange". 🍎 It takes about an hour to drive from Budapest to Kecskemét, a city in central Hungary. This is the most important city in central Hungary! It is the capital of Bács-Kiskun and the 8th largest city in the country (compared to China, it should be a small town in an 18th-tier city with a small population!). The name of the city comes from Austrian, meaning "goat". Although it is small, it has a relatively long history and culture. ✈️ The most representative building in Kecskemét is Kecskemét Town Hall, which is located on the main square and was built from 1893 to 1897. It is one of the most famous buildings in the city and a must-visit for many tourists. 💯 The building facing the town hall is the Franciscan Church, which was built in the 14th century. Locals call it the "Monk Church". It was originally Romanesque and has a Baroque appearance after many restorations. In addition, St. Milos Church, Protestant Church, etc. are also worth visiting. ✅ The Hungarian Photography Museum and the Hungarian 0 Artist Museum are the most important museums in the city. We were looking for a place to take a break, have a beer and a snack, and came across Pointer Pub. The service was very friendly and understood English well. We decided to share a 32cm four cheese pizza and both enjoyed two cold beers before getting on our way. The shady outdoor patio was a nice place to sit and people watch as well.

In Budapest with a friend, and after a whole day of sightseeing, we stopped at Pointer for dinner, which is very close to our hotel (Bastion). We ordered the ratatouille and the beef with spätzle. It was wonderful; one of the best meals I've had recently. Highly recommended!

I do not know what was the best part: burgers, beer, lemonade, cocktail, service.....ALL GREAT! Variety in lemonade offers, cocktails of all kind, service staff members are friendly and if you are a regular customer, you will even get a drink on the house :D This was my favorite bar during both of my stays there, and when I visit Budapest again, you'll be able to see me having a drink there.

Stopped by for a couple of glasses of wine in early evening. Excellent service, great place to watch people walk by. Reasonable prices.
