The ale and cider selection is really impressive, probably the best around here. The staff knew their stuff and gave me a solid recommendation for a local cider I hadn't tried before.

The small plates are a tasty complement, and I appreciate that the ingredients taste so fresh.

The lamb chops here are the reason I keep coming back. They're always cooked just right, so tender you barely need a knife. The flavour is deep, really well-seasoned. For what you pay, the portion is more than fair.

Great location in the centre of town. The staff were so generous with tasters, and the kids' ice cream portions were huge!

Been coming here for years, and it's always reliable. What keeps me coming back is how fresh the ingredients taste. You can tell they use quality produce. The grilled salmon salad is my go-to – the greens are always crisp. A solid choice for a healthy, satisfying meal.

Been here a few times now. Food's always cooked right and comes out hot. That's what keeps me coming back, honestly.

Came here with a few mates for a proper fish and chips fix. The curry sauce was spot on - really creamy and went perfectly with the crispy batter. Just what we needed for a chilled catch-up.

The grilled chicken is always juicy and full of flavour. I really like the selection of sauces they have. The chips are generous and well-prepared too. A solid, reliable spot.

Love the vegan mozzarella here. It's a nice touch that makes the plant-based options feel more complete.

Phillip was a real help with our big group. He took his time with the order and kept us posted on the kitchen being a bit behind. Good service, made it easier.

Food came out fast, which was handy with the kids. The little play corner kept them busy, so we could actually enjoy our drinks.

Nice spot for a date. The staff were really lovely with our requests. The wine list had some good options that paired well with the food.

The prices are fair, which is nice when you don't feel like cooking. I just wish there were a few more healthy options on the menu.

Loved how spacious it is here. Felt really comfortable just settling in with my laptop for a few hours. The free Wi-Fi was a nice touch. Perfect for when you need to get out of the house but still be productive.

Been a regular for ages. The real ales are spot on, always perfectly kept. Molly and Mollie are lovely, really make you feel welcome. That's what keeps me coming back.

The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the garlic bread had a nice crisp. Delivery arrived right on time.

Popped in for a late English breakfast. The bacon was nicely crisp, eggs runny just how I like them. Good portion of beans and mushrooms too. Pot of tea kept coming. Service was spot on, friendly without hovering. A solid, no-fuss fry-up.

Been coming here for years. Their burgers are always spot on, and the chips are honestly the best around. Just a solid, no-fuss meal every time.

Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The pastel de nata and decaf latte were a perfect little treat. It was quite busy though, so maybe not for a quiet chat.

The Sunday roast was spot on, and the staff were really helpful. Their wine list had a lovely Rioja that paired beautifully with the beef.

The staff were so welcoming, and the traditional music they played was a lovely touch. Really made the evening feel homely.
