Been coming here for years, always skip the buffet. The squid with garlic and chilli is spot on, just the right kick. Beef in chilli oil’s got that proper depth of flavour. It’s the real deal if you want something authentic.

The full English was spot on. Hot, fresh, everything cooked just right. Honestly, for what you get, the price is a pleasant surprise. A proper start to the day.

Lovely little family-run cafe. The prawn baguette was the star for me - fresh, crusty bread and the filling was spot on. My latte was huge and kept me going all afternoon. A solid lunch spot.

The suya here is really good, nice and spicy. Grabbed it to go and had it with a cold Guinness, hit the spot. Quick and easy.

That Nasi Goreng at lunch was just the right kind of comforting. The flavours were spot on, and it felt like a proper, cosy meal. A bit of a wait for it, but honestly, it hit the spot.

Fish and chips always fresh and hot here. Portions are generous. The vinegar and salt on the fish is a nice touch. It's my reliable spot for a quick, filling meal after work. Good value for the price.

Been ordering from this place since I moved in nearby. The steamed buns are always spot on. Service is quick and reliable every single time. For the price, you really can't go wrong.

The food was fine, service was nice. But I really liked the space itself. The high ceilings and those big windows let in so much light, made it feel really open and airy. A comfortable spot to just sit and chat.

Service was on point even when packed. They knew their wine list, which made choosing a bottle easy.

Lovely view of the cathedral from the terrace on a sunny day. Had a coffee and a slice of their carrot cake - it was moist and not too sweet. A nice, quiet spot for a little break.

Booked with Tastecard, no fuss. Staff were on it all evening, really attentive but not hovering. That kind of smooth service makes a difference.

The vintage decor here is lovely, really cozy with all the mismatched china. A nice spot to unwind over a pot of tea. The scones were a bit dry, but the clotted cream was good.

The salmon and cream cheese on granary bread was spot on. Simple, fresh, and really hit the spot. Paired it with a crisp white wine from their short list, which worked a treat. Just a shame the coffee afterwards was a bit weak.

The lunch deal is a steal – two starters, two mains and two sides for under £20. The grilled halloumi starter was spot on, and the service was really friendly. A solid find for a weekday treat!

I highly recommend Alloro for its delicious food and attentive service. The value for money is impressive, especially with such high-quality dishes.

Nice spot for a quiet coffee. Staff are friendly and efficient, the latte art was a nice touch. Good for a quick meeting or catching up on emails. Prices are reasonable for the location.

Popped in for a quick bite. The panini was lightly toasted, just how I like it. Simple and tasty. Staff were nice and the place is clean. Good for a light lunch.

The staff here are so lovely. They remembered my name from my last visit a few months ago, which was a really nice touch. Makes it feel like a proper local spot.

The staff were so lovely! They noticed we were trying to take a group photo and just offered to do it for us. Really nice touch, made the whole evening feel a bit more special.

The vegan dim sum set was a nice surprise. Tried the mushroom buns and the spring rolls. The meat ones were solid too. Good for sharing a bit of everything.

Service was quick, and the place is spotless. Snack options are decent. But for the price, the portions could be a bit bigger. Felt a little light for what I paid.

Prices are surprisingly decent here, especially next to the big chain spots. Got the chicken katsu curry, and it was a proper portion for what I paid. Solid lunch.
