The bread basket is a real treat. The croissants were perfectly flaky, and I appreciated that the QR code ordering let me pair refills with my wine at my own pace.

The grouper hotpot was the standout. Fish was incredibly fresh, cooked just right in the broth. Monkfish one was good, but the grouper had a better texture. Perfect for a chilly evening.

Sat at the counter to watch them cook the steak. Tried the ribeye and the sirloin side-by-side. The ribeye had a much richer fat flavor, while the sirloin was leaner but still tender. A solid way to compare.

The fried horse mackerel here is so thick and crispy! Perfect with their tartar sauce. A solid choice in Mosaic.

Loved their wine-by-the-glass options! Made it so easy for our group to try different pairings with our meals.

The private onsen in the room was a nice touch. The water was piping hot and perfectly clean. Perfect for a long soak after a long day.

This kushikatsu restaurant inside the Portopia Hotel offers a unique dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere and a creative menu. The skewers are light and delicious, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal.

The coconut naan was so rich, almost too much for one person. Ate it with the chicken sekuwa, which was really juicy and not as dry as tandoori can get. Definitely want to come back and try other things.

Lunch course is a steal. The plates look so good, almost too pretty to eat. 🍽️ Had the grilled fish set last week, colors were amazing.

The Pomme d'Amour with brandy was the highlight. The apple was perfectly tender, and the caramel had a nice depth. A bit sweet for my taste, but the flavor was spot-on. I'd order it again.

The egg sandwich was the highlight. The omelet inside was thick and grilled fresh, so fluffy and tasty. Really enjoyed it.

The skirt steak was so tender, and the turmeric rice had a lovely aroma. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. The portion was generous too.

A short walk from Himeji Station's north exit. The sweets are so elegantly presented, it's hard to pick just one. I had a matcha parfait and the bitterness paired nicely with a simple hojicha tea. The shop itself is quite small, so getting a seat might require a bit of patience.

A nice find for a quick bite. The counter seats have power outlets, so I could charge my phone while eating. The draft beer was surprisingly good for the price, a crisp lager that went well with the fried chicken. The chicken itself was just okay, a bit dry. But that beer hit the spot.

Stopped by for coffee. The New York cheesecake was surprisingly moist, not dry at all. Went perfectly with my bitter americano. Just a nice little bite.

The steak lunch set is such a good deal. A proper piece of meat with rice and salad, all for that price. Felt like a little treat in the middle of the day.

Love their lunch deals before 2:30! Perfect for a quick catch-up with friends in a cozy, no-fuss setting.

Convenient location right by Motomachi Station. The interior is clean and calm, a good blend of old and new. Stopped in while walking through the arcade. A solid, quiet spot for a break.

The breakfast set with toast and a boiled egg is a solid deal. Grabbed a seat easily in the quiet morning. I appreciated the coffee choice—a nice, simple roast that paired well with the egg. A good, straightforward start to the day.

Nice casual brunch spot. The granola set was decent, but the real star was the strawberry smoothie—perfect with a light meal. Got a table for four on a Sunday, no reservation needed.

The dining room is spotless and feels nicely spaced out. I really appreciated the clear COVID protocols. The wine list had a few interesting local options that paired well with the meal.
