Stopped in for lunch between the station and the old town. The location is super convenient for a quick bite. Had the daily pasta special—it was fresh and hit the spot. Just what I needed before heading back out.

Found this spot tucked away in an alley. The Negroni and Old Fashioned were spot on—really well made. Each had its own little twist that kept things interesting. A solid find for classic cocktails done right.

A nice little spot in the hotel basement near the station. The classic vibe is very relaxing. I appreciated the comfortable, padded bar stools—made it easy to settle in for a quiet drink.

The bar snacks were just okay, but the cocktails really stood out. The bartender explained the ingredients so well. That ¥500 cover charge felt a bit steep at first, though.

The cocktails were well-made, especially the one with the house-infused gin. The space felt private, which I liked. Just a heads up, they do allow smoking inside, so that might be a factor for some.

Came in for a quick drink. The bartender made something custom based on what I like, and it was fantastic. Ended up staying way longer than planned!

The atmosphere is perfect for relaxation, and the generous portions of appetizers paired with delicious cocktails make it a must-visit spot.

The drinks here are a good deal for Kyoto. I had a couple of their house cocktails, and the price was fair for what you get. Portion was decent too, not those tiny glasses you sometimes see.

The team here is so nice! They remembered my name from my last visit and even gave a little extra detail about the daily special. It felt really welcoming, not just polite. A small thing, but it made my lunch feel special.

Came here again this summer, feels like a yearly thing now. The place was buzzing, good for a casual hangout with friends.

The Calvados highball was so refreshing with that hint of cinnamon! The chocolate pairing was a nice touch too.

The owner really knows his Japanese whisky. I told him what I usually enjoy, and his suggestions were spot on. He shared some interesting background on the selections too. A nice, quiet spot for a drink.

Been coming here for years. That violet fizz is my go-to after work. Always the same, always hits the spot. Just a chill place to settle in.

Been coming here for years. No cover charge is the main reason I keep coming back. Just a solid, relaxed spot to grab a drink without any fuss.

Finally tried the bar after hearing about it. The bartender made me a custom cocktail off-menu. It was a gin base with some kind of floral syrup and a hint of citrus. Very balanced, not too sweet. That was the highlight for me.

Yuki really knows his stuff when it comes to Japanese spirits. I learned a lot just chatting with him while sipping a cocktail. Time just flew by.

Service can be a bit slow since it's usually just one person running things. But the drinks are really well made. I had a non-alcoholic cocktail that was quite nice.

Been coming here for years. The daily specials are always a treat - you can tell they put thought into the seasonal ingredients. The miso soup today had a really nice depth to it. A solid, reliable spot.

Although it opens late at 10 p.m., the friendly atmosphere and delicious food make it worth the wait. Highly recommended!

The owner and staff were super friendly. Food was good, and the atmosphere had a fun, unique vibe. Nice spot.

Been coming here for years with my buddies. On a warm evening, grabbing a table outside is just the best. It's always the same chill vibe, never disappoints.

The bar has a great, laid-back energy. We ended up staying much longer than we planned because we were having such a good time.

Classic British lounge bar, feels like a proper hotel spot. The furnishings are tasteful and the atmosphere is dignified.

Stumbled upon this quiet spot away from the main streets. Perfect for a peaceful break. The drink menu is huge—lots of sake and wine options to choose from. Service was really on point.
