The matcha latte was pretty good. It went nicely with the relaxed, shoes-off seating area.

Stopped by this cafe near Kodaiji after a long walk. The spaghetti portion was decent for the price, filled me up. Also tried their matcha tamatebako, it's a bit pricey but the presentation is so pretty.

Nice spot for tea with friends! The sweets are a bit too sweet for my taste, but the coffee is really good.

I can't recommend this place enough! The combination of freshly baked goods and a calm environment makes it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some sweets.

I was happy to see oat milk on the menu. Got the Original Latte with it, and the coffee taste wasn't lost at all. Just a nice, smooth cup.

The matcha latte was just right, not too sweet or bitter. I tried the soy version and it had a nice, rich flavor. A solid spot for a quick drink.

Kurumi no Ki in Nara. The seasonal lunch was really good, especially the gratin. It’s nice you can stay for cake after.

Found this spot for breakfast. The heart-shaped pancake was fluffy, not too sweet. Place is small, so it can feel a bit cramped when busy. Good for a quick, quiet bite.

The French toast was a nice surprise. Not too sweet, and the bread itself had a good texture. Coffee was solid too. Just a chill, tasty breakfast.

The omelette over fried rice was huge and very filling. The pizza toast was a nice surprise too. Good portions for the price, I left satisfied.

I've been coming here for years. Their drip coffee is solid, always reliable. Tried the iced caramel latte this time, it was pretty good. They sell their own beans too, which is handy.

The cat parfait was so cute! The ice cream, fruit, and little cake bits went together perfectly. My friend and I couldn't stop taking pictures before we dug in. A really fun dessert to share.

Found this place after temple hopping. The latte with their homemade sugar syrup is really nice.

Been here for business lunch. Kitsune Donburi with the Kujo leeks was solid, good flavor. Prices are reasonable for the area. Service was efficient, got me in and out in under an hour.

Great spot to chill with friends after Fushimi Inari. The fluffy pancakes are so good! Staff were really nice too.

Came here for an early breakfast before the crowds. The staff were so kind, even with my limited Japanese. They brought extra cushions for the chairs without me asking, which was a thoughtful touch. A very comfortable start to the day.

A lovely, quiet spot near the Kinkakuji bus stop. The vintage decor is so cozy, it feels like a little escape. A peaceful place to begin the morning. My only wish was for a slightly softer chair for a longer stay.

Nice spot for a western breakfast. The quiche was tasty, flaky crust. Went with a simple black coffee, but I kept thinking a crisp white wine would have been a fun pairing for the quiche, maybe a Sauvignon Blanc. Could have elevated the whole thing.

Stopped by after seeing the Golden Temple. Tiny spot, easy to miss. Ordered the gyoza. Crispy on the bottom, juicy inside. Really hit the spot.

Cozy spot, good for a relaxed evening. The lighting was a bit bright for my taste, could be dimmer to match the vibe. Still, a nice place to unwind.

The matcha was so smooth and rich, a perfect match for the delicate wagashi. Really appreciated the quality.

The breakfast set is a solid deal, and the Earl Grey paired really well with the ham and egg sandwich.

A nice spot in a quiet alley. The old townhouse interior is quite peaceful. Had a decent matcha latte and a slice of cake. It's a bit on the pricey side, but a fine place to unwind for an hour.

They have seats outside for waiting. Good when it's packed.

The coffee tasting set here is a must. You get three different single-origin brews side by side. The Ethiopian had a really bright, fruity acidity that I kept going back to. Seats are hard to come by, but the coffee itself is the main event.

The desserts here are truly a work of art, both in appearance and taste. Each cake is beautifully crafted and delicious, making it a must-visit for dessert lovers.

The staff was really friendly. My phone was about to die and they let me charge it at the bar. That was super helpful.

The pancakes were so fluffy and had a nice matcha taste. Really liked the texture. The mochi was good too. The place itself feels cozy, kind of like a quiet spot to just sit for a while.

The latte art was so pretty I had to take a picture. Banana cake was moist and not too sweet. Coffee had a nice, smooth taste. The old wooden tables and quiet music made it a really chill spot to just sit for a while.
