The seasoning here is just right, never bland. I had their lemon tart again, and it paired nicely with a glass of late-harvest Riesling. The sweet and tart notes played off each other well. A small cake came with the order, which was a nice touch.

Great spot for catching up with friends near Doshisha! The coffee is solid and everything is priced so reasonably for the area. We ended up staying for hours just chatting.

Been coming here for years. That old man still runs the place, and his curry rice on the sizzling plate is always the same. Simple, but the flavor is always spot on. Mixing the raw egg in at the end is the best part.

The side dishes are a real plus here. They're buffet-style, so you can take what you like. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. It's a pretty good deal for a satisfying lunch.

Coffee's fresh brewed. Traditional siphon. Each cup aromatic. Flavorful.

The breakfast set is decent. The sandwich with the thick omelet is pretty good, though the coffee was a bit too bitter for me.

The French toast was the highlight for me. It came out warm, with a perfect crisp edge and a soft, custardy center. The staff was patient with my limited Japanese, which I appreciated. A solid choice for a relaxed breakfast.

A cozy spot near Nishiki Market. The owner is so kind, and the breakfast set was really filling. The egg sandwich was simple but just right.

A quiet spot on the 6th floor for a break. I liked their salad plate—the greens were crisp and the dressing was light, just what I needed. The vegetables tasted very fresh.

A nice, classic spot. The owner has a good sense of style, and the plants make it feel cozy. It’s a pretty charming place with a nostalgic vibe. The coffee was decent. A bit on the quiet side for a Saturday morning, but that was fine.

The owner is so kind, cooking everything herself. You can feel the care in each dish. It’s a quiet, personal sort of place.

This place feels like stepping back in time. The siphon coffee is so fragrant, and I loved the crispy salted honey toast. Just the right amount of sweet and salty.

Nice big space, never had to wait for a table. Tried their ramen for the first time—the broth was rich and the chashu was super tender. A solid spot for a quick, no-fuss meal.
