TheForkUserMy family and I dine here once a fortnight, customer service is always great :) very accommodating as we have young children. They are very detailed when it comes to seating and let you switch so we can watch the kids in the playground. Food is always great!
TheForkUserI am saddened to know Fork is leaving the table, so to speak. It is the easiest app to book a table at my desired restaurant. I hope the tavern comes up a booking service but I will wait and see.

TheForkUserWe attended tonight and entered the main room which had a live performance. But we were asked if we’d like to eat somewhere quieter and they asked if we’d like to eat in the bar area near the tab section. We were more than happy to do that as we had just flown in from Melbourne. I had the rump steak, chips, salad with the Diane sauce and Neil who had accompanied me had the senior chicken schnitzel meal with the chips and salad also.I added some aioli to go with my chips along with 2 pints of lemon lime bitters for us both.The food was most excellent and I’m thankful when I left o forgot my green carry bag and they kept it behind the bar for me for safe keeping. Thank you kindly for that also, as that meant a lot to me.All and all great food, service and atmosphere and it’s the 3rd time we’ve eaten here as we also own an apartment that we rent out in Brisbane and we’re looking to move this way from Ballarat Victoria to be closer to a country vibe that’s not too far away from the city.Definitely the best tavern in the area, so much so we have a pub down the road from where we are staying in Petrie and its food and atmosphere doesn’t compare to your awesome establishment !! Thank you and compliments to the staff and chef.
