Been coming here for years, and their cream tea never disappoints. The scones are always warm, and they're generous with the clotted cream and jam. It's the one thing I keep coming back for.

Jodie was super attentive even when the place was packed. The lamb shank was cooked just right, fell off the bone. A solid meal, though the sides were a bit lukewarm by the time they got to us.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so welcoming. They remember my usual order and always ask how my week's been. Makes it feel like a proper local spot.

What a tasty food we been served by the most friendly professional and caring team at Black Rock Restaurant! I really recommend with all my being that experienced the great time in there ! Thank you and God bless all 🙏👼♥️

Been coming here for years, always on a Sunday. The fish and chips are just as good as they were the first time. It's the one place I know won't let me down when I'm craving that proper crispy batter. Staff are lovely too.

Jodie was a great server, very patient and checked on us just the right amount. Made the meal nice and relaxed.

The rooftop view is the main draw here. Grabbed a pint and just sat for a while watching the town. Good spot to unwind.

First time trying poutine here. The fries were crispy, and the cheese curds squeaked just right. That gravy was so rich and savoury, really hit the spot on a chilly evening. A solid intro to the dish!

The breakfast was really good value for money. Big portions, lots of options, and the price felt fair for what you get. That's what stood out for me.

The cheese scone was a bit on the dense side, but still had a nice flavour. I'm a sucker for their homemade cakes though - that brownie hit the spot. Such a bright, airy space to just chill with a coffee.

Loved the garden seating for lunch! Our server was really attentive, kept checking in without being overbearing. Food came out super quick too. A really nice spot when the sun's out. 🌿

Lovely, cosy spot for a relaxed dinner. The decor is stylish but still feels welcoming, not stuffy at all.

Laura was our waitress and she was brilliant. Really friendly and made the whole thing feel easy, even with a big group. The birthday cake they brought out was a nice touch. Service was definitely the highlight.

Been coming here for years. The chicken gyros are always spot on.

As a gluten-free diner, I was really pleased with the bread options here. The sourdough had a nice texture, and the roast beef sandwich was spot on. A solid find for anyone with dietary needs.

Been coming here for years, and it's always buzzing, even on a Monday night. That's what keeps me coming back – you know exactly what you're getting. The team are on it, never leave you waiting. A proper local spot.

Love the vibe here for a casual catch-up. The food portions are huge, so sharing a few plates with friends is perfect. We tried the fish and chips and a burger, both were solid pub grub. Just a heads up, it gets pretty loud later on!

The staff made a grilled chicken burger for my daughter even though it wasn't on the menu. Very nice of them.

Great service for our big Christmas party. They even called ahead about a dessert change, which was really thoughtful.

Friendly local spot, really cosy. Had the scampi and chips for lunch - the scampi was lovely and fresh, a proper portion too. Just a quiet, pleasant meal.

The charcoal grill really makes the meat dishes here taste fantastic. Portions are generous for the price.

The seafood masterclass with Tony and Katie was brilliant. Loved learning to prep plaice and oysters by the water at sunset.

Solid village pub. Had the Sunday roast here, beef was cooked well and the portions were generous. Good spot for a quiet pint after work. The garden gets busy on sunny days, so service can be a bit slow then.

The staff were great, really friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. That kind of service is nice to see.

Lovely little spot. The staff were so friendly, which made the whole evening feel relaxed. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was - you could settle in for a while. The exposed wooden beams add a nice touch.

The staff were so lovely! They checked on us just enough, never felt rushed. Made our little catch-up with the girls feel really relaxed.

The Sunday roast beef was spot on, beautifully tender. I had it with a glass of their house red, which was a solid pairing. Made for a very satisfying, relaxed lunch.

Lovely spot for a relaxed evening. The patatas bravas were spot on, crispy and well-seasoned. Staff were genuinely friendly, which made a difference. A bit on the pricier side for tapas, but the quality was there.
