Kasey was really helpful. She took our dietary restrictions seriously and even sorted out a little something for our dog. Made the evening go smoothly. Service was fine throughout.

Proper pub feel, friendly crowd. Guinness was spot on, poured perfectly. Service was quick, didn't have to wait long at the bar. Just what you want for a casual pint.

Been coming here for years, and the fish and chips are always spot on. The batter is consistently thin and crispy.

A lovely, old-fashioned spot with a cricket club feel. The food is classic English, fresh and good value. I liked the comfortable seating, it made for a relaxed lunch. The service was friendly and unhurried.

Made from scratch. Means a longer wait. But the freshness is there. You can taste it. Worth the extra time.

Booked a beach hut for a work dinner. The setup was private, radio was a nice touch. Staff were responsive, food arrived promptly. Good for a focused meeting away from the main dining area.

Been coming here for years, and they always remember the small things. Got a little dessert on the house for our anniversary again.

Been coming here for years. What keeps me coming back is the atmosphere - it's always cosy and feels genuine. Just a nice, relaxed place to have a meal.

Lovely little spot for a treat. The brownies and ice cream are really good, and I liked the mix of indoor and outdoor seating.

Booked ahead and asked for the roast chicken – so glad we did. The gravy was just like my nan's, honestly. Perfect for a chilled Sunday catch-up with the girls.

Bottomless brunch is a solid deal. Cocktails were good, service on point.

A nice spot for a quiet dinner. The food was pretty good, and the little touches like gum and perfume in the restroom were a thoughtful detail. Service was fine, though it did get a bit slow as the evening went on.

Solid local pub. They've got a really nice selection of drinks, which I appreciate. Found a surprisingly good local red that went perfectly with the steak and ale pie. The vibe is spot on for a relaxed evening.

I have been here with parents, children, the kids chums, my mates and a lady or five. This was for my 60th with the eldest, her Man and a lady chum of mine. The waiting staff were effective and courteous the foid was good and got to have a Dad chat this is the first time since my last parent passed a way so a comfortable and warm place. The walk in Dedham was very chilly a lunch to remember.

The breakfast is the star here. Proper butcher's sausages, eggs cooked just right. It's not cheap, but you're paying for that quality. Felt like a solid start to the day.

The welcome drink was a nice touch, but I really appreciated how fresh the fruit platter looked in the room. It felt like a thoughtful, healthy start.

The refurb is lovely, kept all the old character but feels so fresh now. It's the perfect spot for a catch-up with friends—everything just feels clean and new.

Came for a casual Sunday lunch with friends. The mega star burger was a real highlight, so tasty! The vibe was just right for a relaxed catch-up.

The lamb shawarma wrap is the only thing I come for. The meat is always well-spiced and juicy, the garlic sauce is sharp, and the flatbread is fresh and soft. It's just a consistently good, straightforward bite.

Been coming here for years, and what keeps me coming back is how they handle a group. Had a big dinner with friends last week, and the staff just made everything flow. No fuss, no stress. They get it right every time.

Menu's creative, flavours were a nice surprise.

The ingredients are top-notch, everything tastes fresh and homemade. Their wine list has some nice pairings for the dishes, though it's a bit pricey.

Popped in with the dogs after a beach walk, no booking. Got a table quick. The fish and chips came out fast, perfect for a quick bite. Chips were proper hot and crispy. Good spot when you're hungry and in a rush.

Been grabbing their frozen meals for busy nights. The bangers & mash reheats really well, just like the chickpea stew. Handy to have decent gluten-free options. Staff are always friendly when I pop in.

Been coming here for years, and their cream tea never disappoints. The scones are always warm, and they're generous with the clotted cream and jam. It's the one thing I keep coming back for.
