Cosy spot, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The gentle buzz of other tables chatting was actually really nice, didn't feel too quiet or loud. Just a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal.

Cosy spot with low lighting, perfect for a quiet dinner. The staff were quick, no waiting around. Had the lamb rogan josh, and the wine list had a surprisingly decent Malbec that actually stood up to the rich spices. Music was a nice touch too.

Been coming here for years, and the curries are always spot on. Just the right amount of spice, and they never skimp on the portion. It's the one thing I can always count on.

I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were. The king prawn spaghetti had such vibrant, crisp prawns. The tagliatelle was good too, though the speck ham made it a touch salty for my taste. A solid choice for a mindful meal.

Clinton was so friendly and welcoming. He checked in on us just the right amount and made sure we had everything we needed. Really made the evening feel relaxed.

Tried their Scandinavian themed dinner. Every dish was clearly put together with care, and tasted good. I've been to a few of these events now, and the presentation here is a step above.

My dad's a fish & chips guy, and he reckons their battered cod was the best in years. My halloumi salad was huge! Really nice spot for a relaxed lunch.

The team, especially Jordan, were so welcoming. They helped me pick a lovely Pinot Noir that went perfectly with the duck. Made the whole evening. Service like that is a real plus.

The sourdough crust was the real star, light and chewy with a nice char. But honestly, for the price they charge, I was expecting a bit more pizza on my plate. The slices felt a little small.

The food was good but the choice was poor. The menu has been reduced and it's not an improvement. And this "Italian" no longer serves pana cotta as a desert option.

Popped in for a coffee, but the smell of bacon got me. Ended up with their full breakfast. The eggs were perfectly runny, and the sourdough toast was spot on. Worth the 15-minute wait for sure.

The set menu for two is the way to go here. Portions are huge, you get a bit of everything. The lamb chops were the standout, really well seasoned and tender. Good for a filling meal without breaking the bank.

Service was on point tonight. Quick, friendly, and they just left us to enjoy our meal without hovering. Felt relaxed the whole time.

Mandy was so attentive and friendly, really made us feel welcome. The pizzas were good, especially the kids' ones. Decent price for what you get.

The crispy chili beef was seriously good. I can't remember the last time I had it this nice. The sauce had a proper kick and the beef was so crispy.

I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients are here. The salad greens were crisp and the vegetables tasted like they were just picked. It's nice to know you're eating something wholesome. The space itself is very clean and cozy, which adds to the relaxed feel.

Been coming here for years. The burgers are still solid, proper juicy patty. Just wish they'd drop the service charge, makes it feel a bit pricey for what you get.

Staff were really on it, super attentive without being overbearing. Felt looked after but not crowded. The food was solid, flavours came through nicely. Just a relaxed, comfortable spot for a bite.

Came for a team dinner. The booking was easy, and the staff handled our large group well on the night. The waterfront view was a nice bonus, but honestly, the main draw for me was the portion sizes—really generous for the price point.

the staff at the main reception was very friendly and helpful, the beautician I had was brilliant she answered all the questions I had to ask and also gave me advice on skin care products I can use at home to get the best results for my skin, the members of staff at the restaurant was friendly I asked for a vegan opinion for my afternoon tea and I was given that, the afternoon tea was great I would definitely revisit again.

The staff here are just so lovely. They remembered my name from a previous visit, which was a really nice touch. Always smiling and happy to help, it just makes the whole experience feel that bit more welcoming.

A clean, tidy spot with a proper local feel. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the fish and chips, really brought it together. A real find in Clacton.
