The food is good, but we didn&rsquo;t like the fact they put too much pressure on you while you&rsquo;re eating as for example we had the table from 12:30 until 2pm for 9 people so of course we needed some time to order and we were pretty fast doing so. At the some time they needed time to cook the food we ordered so long story short we started eating around 13:20ish and every 10 minutes they kept coming asking If everything was ok that is not that bad but also stressed people out as they felt they needed to eat in a rush and in fact just after a few minutes we were done they came in and started clearing the table and by 13:59 we were out!

The food choice..wonderful!!The atmosphere was eclectic and fun. Service was friendly and helpful explaining the menu.

Delicious food with a wonderful mix of traditional dishes with a modern taste. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was vibrant and fun.

We found this place by the reviews on the fork.com site. Took the Metro a few stops from our hotel. The service and food was great and so was the prices.

One of the best trattorie in Milan, food is amazing, great pricing and atmosphere is unique.The cotoletta is actually the best I&#39;ve ever had!!!

Only one waitress spoke English, and by the way, she also spoke French. There was an English menu available. Water was charged 2 euros, which is apparently customary in Italy... although the hotel restaurant I stayed in didn&#39;t charge for it... they should have reminded me when I ordered. But I came for the food: had the most delicious octopus salad! Great find.

Great place with professional service !!! Excelent value for money. Our family enjoyed delicious, creative and whats is most important fresh food

We made a great choice for our farewell dinner in Milan! Le Pape Bistrot is a modernly decorated space, with super attentive staff who are very well informed about the ingredients, the details of each dish and beautiful wine pairing suggestions. Last but never least, Chef Luca Maestroni&#39;s signature dishes! Highly recommended!

The staff were welcoming and i really like how they present the dishes in an inviting way and that makes you eat it even with your eyes. The place is small but characteristic, in a quiet area, and the dishes are very good. I did a review (Tia Dn) 9 months ago on google with photos and I am of the same opinion as then, that it is a place to try!

The food could not have been better. Good value for money as well. A bit slow service and we had to remind our waiter about our wine order. Apart from that, highly recommended

I want to start with a very culturally diverse staff. They are friendly smiling and attentive. They offer Milanese cuisine and their plates are the commercially known plates. I was happy to eat zucca (zucchini) flowers in different plates. The penata was delicious. I only points of my dislike, I prefer restaurants with good lighting. The wine list is diverse for all tastes. I would recommend this place to friends and definitely would come again. Fairly priced, we spent &euro;30 per person.
