Antica Rupe

Hidden gem in a quiet corner of Orvieto, serving excellent seafood and several dishes of the neapolitan culinary tradition. The service is very efficient and friendly and the owner was exceptionally nice to us. Prices are also very reasonable. The only disappointment was that they do not serve pizza at lunch time.

It’s so loud in this restaurant! I did not enjoy that aspect, especially the loud music that was blaring out of the speaker beside me. The food is pretty good but I had much better elsewhere in Orvieto. You can skip this one.

very nice place with large spaces also outside. the food, however, was the best surprise! Fried appetizer very good and of very generous size... then the pizza, VERY GOOD! light dough, excellent products and perfect cooking! Congratulations indeed! p.s. I also saw some huge cutting boards and some carbonara not bad (much more inviting than other "famous" places where, however, I was deeply disappointed).

We were pleasantly surprised by the location (a former friary), the kindness of the staff and the food, all truly excellent.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff, generous portions and fish dishes all well cooked. With the TheFork discount the final bill was also excellent!
